It is now cloudy and cold here. Kitchen door wide open to dry threshold, house freezing.

Just been to get another paint sample, fingers crossed for this one. Cuppa, washing on the line and testing in that order.

Would you believe the temporary crown dropped off 20min before my appointment? Saved him pulling it off I suppose.

Suitably messed about with, face still partly numb but hungry so having some lunch and only chewing on the other side. He said the new one should be back before my hols (fingers crossed)

Emptied DW and put the breakfast things in, made lunch and put some sausages on for kids tea - parents eve and swimming tonight so no time to cook later. Was going to put a wash on, but might wait for uniforms later.

Work is quiet - everyone (except me) is on a team day in Belfast so I'm just plodding along and doing rather a lot of waiting. I may take an hour off and make it up tonight when I have more stuff to work with. We gave some people today as a deadline, and I think lots of them will either miss it entirely or deliver at 5pm - Gah! Never mind.

My Euro's arrived this morning - we have spending money :T Did I mention I'm going on holiday? :rotfl:

Hubby finished mending shower, I really wanted him to fail, so I could have a nice new one though :( anyways meant I was able to get into bathroom today and give it the thorough clean it needed, have asked hubby to put me a couple more shelves in airing cupboard, I think this will help and motivate me to keep it tidy. Its now on his long list!! (11 years for my picket fence haha).

Lounge was done yesterday, so today I have concentrated on dining room and playroom, and sorting out some outstanding paperwork and phone calls, managed to get a bit more staining done on picket fence, but having to be by phone as awaiting return calls!! So frustrating!

Have also resigned to note writing today, as got fed up of opening bathroom door and it closing straight on me, due to pile of clothes behind it. So note on door reads "MAKE SURE YOU TAKE ALL YOUR BELONGINGS WITH YOU, NOTHING TO BE LEFT ON BATHROOM FLOOR OR ON WINDOW SILLS" and another note above laundry basket which reads "NO DIRTY WASHING LEFT ON TOP OF BASKET - LIFT THE LID! IF OVER FLOWING, FEEL FREE TO PUT A LOAD IN WASHING MACHINE" I'll let you all know if they work and more realistically, for how long haha!
Loving life to the full, just need purse full too :)

Pixie going down for a nap so we are snuggling.

Mrs MP.. as sort into bags which would end up on the floor I may as well pair them myself and I will at least put the holey ones in the bin.. so far I have sorted 80% of the white socks.. I have the black ones to do next and have half a tall laundry basket full of those..

I have however.. wiped all the kitchen units and appliances, wiped 1/3rd of the worksurface, scrubbed the table and the highchair, glued 5 nails, binned a carrier of holey socks, 2 of recycling and a bag of composting. 2 beds stripped and 2 loads of laundry to go on the line.

Old sofa gone.. new black bin delivered..

OH took girls to ice skating and it is cancelled.. so annoying, it is the first time Squeak could go since being at school, the website said it is open and when he got there it isn't.. Poor Squeak and Dot, they will be devastated!! :( He is taking them to the park for an ice cream instead, but its a poor substitute and its clouded right over here.

    I need a cuppa.. :/

Glad there's good news on the dog front, Jazee.

Top layer floors sucked, paintwork washed, room of doom dusted.

Trying hard not to slap lodgers today. I may fail.
    Better is good enough.

Kitchen half swept.. I desperately need to mop but I need to replace the spongy bit and it's gross lol. I even swept under the units as far as I could reach at least.

carrier of socks flung and bin emptied.. it's almost looking less gross in there..

Doing this all the wrong way around, but as long as my house is clean!
Monday I did the lounge and stairs, vacuuming and mopping. Vac'd the chairs and sofa.

Yesterday was out for the day.

Today have scrubbed the bathroom from top to bottom with plenty of hot bleachy water. Will tackle the bedroom shortly.

OH can do the kitchen floor and his study when he gets in.

I was on the phone regarding the bin swallowing incident so booked this too.. I will get my front back! :D

The bin truck swallowed my bin a couple of months ago and I had to phone for a replacement. Apparently it doesn't happen often but that's why there's a weight restriction on them. It was news to me but I must admit it was rather heavy.

Course nowhere near as onerous as I expected. Mouth more or less behaved apart from a giggle *sigh* but I DID try.
left washing out so come home to that all dry (woot) and managed to park for free very close to course venue when extremely kind driving instructor in car park I first stopped in said she was going my way and I could follow her and she would show me where to park (woot). My colleague had to pay a fiver
