Morning all, promising to be a lovely day weather wise here.

Off walking this morning, need to do the next coat on the threshold and go to one of my gardening jobs for a cuppa this afternoon to plan what needs doing this spring.

Going to clean the sinks, get the washing on and head to the shower.

DS2 was setting light to marshmallows over smoky fires at explorers last night so came home reeking of smoke, all his clothes are in the wm now, I told him to gave a bath and dump them all in the kitchen last night so the whole house didn't stink, I'm sure he'd have just left em in his room if I said nothing.

Visitors ETA 11.30  I've been to buy bits for lunch. DW on, bathroom is all clean, living room fairly tidy. Well there's a floor and sitting clear to sit on, that's the same difference right?

    Monday - Kitchen
    Level One

Remove everything from the fridge, meal plan, wipe the inside, wash out the drawers, wipe the door seal, check the drain hole is clear - put stuff back, with stuff to use first at the front
    Level Two
    [STRIKE]Clear and wipe the sufaces
Polish any granite, stainless steel etc[/STRIKE]
    Hoover and mop the floor

The larder/food cupboards, empty it all out, add to your meal plan, write a shopping list of basics you may run out of over Easter. Wipe out the cupboards and replace after wiping sticky jars and binning/donating stuff which has been in there forever which you really will never use - share your most bizarre find - pictures welcome
    Extras
[STRIKE]HHMe time - just to sit and think or flick through a magazine
    Wipe and water plants[/STRIKE]
Do you still need to organise/buy easter eggs or gifts?

Tuesday - Bathrooms, Hall, Stairs and Landings
    Level One

[STRIKE]Remove everything from the this area which should not be here and put it where it should be - bungalow brigade - hot spots![/STRIKE]

    Hoover and mop the floor[/STRIKE]
    Level Three
Hoover or take outside and shake curtains/blilnds and lightshades
    [STRIKE]Wipe all dusty surfaces/paintwork[/STRIKE]
    Extras
[STRIKE]Sort out all those lonely socks and send them to a better place
HHMe time with a product or two from the bathroom
Replace any sponges, soap, toothbrushes etc which are not pleasant to use
    [/STRIKE]

    Delete some emails/favourites/deal with post
Eat a frog, you'll be pleased you did
Dust up high, any cobwebs, on top of units etc

well done WendyWitch :T:T- I'm guessing your visitors are coming to see YOU though, not your house, but yes I agree the ability to sit down whilst visiting is always a bonus :rotfl: Hope you have a nice time.

In d&v news, it seems to have eased off - last episode being teatime last night. fingers crossed - the patient is in bed sleeping at the moment, I'm very much hoping she rallies to go to the childminders tomorrow. I know it won't be quite 48 hours, but I really might get the sack otherwise and all the kids have been exposed to it anyway as its rampaging through school :(:(:(

I have cleared and cleaned the kitchen, got the second load of washing on already this morning - towels and bedding on the whirligig - love spring! I've miltoned all the drinking bottles, sink is clean and clear and I'm about to tackle the bathroom. Again.

I'll trade you sock pairing for Tshirts folding pigpen, I've been doing that this morning. Could you not just sort into people give them a bag each and let them wear odd or pair themselves?

Trog clean out, sewing machine out away, shredding done and bagged, some photos culled, all non iron washing put away, explorers stuff hung out, some more CS bag filling, DD2 rang for a natter, and now it's time for work.
