    Hey all
The news is awful isn't it? I daren't watch while the kiddies are up - we fly in two weeks. Just shocking. So many devastated families :(

All I'm doing today is kitchen dailies and clearing out the fridge of grotties.

Might even go to bed early.

  • Good evening, I have been struggling today to get organised and motivated, as I have had a lot of pain.

    Monday - Kitchen
Remove everything from the fridge and wipe
Do a meal plan for April
    Clear and wipe the surfaces
    Hoover downstairs
Polish any granite, stainless steel etc
    Hoover and mop the floor

Update lists of what is in the cupboards
Make a start on shopping list
Do you still need to organise/buy easter eggs or gifts?

Decide what to wear for interview at the end of the week

Tuesday - Bathrooms, Hall, Stairs and Landings
    Remember to take medicines
Remove everything from the this area which should not be here and put it where it should be - bungalow brigade - hot spots!
    Clean toilets, sinks and baths/showers
    Hoover and mop the floor
Hoover or take outside and shake curtains/blilnds and lightshades
    Wipe all dusty surfaces/paintwork
Sort out all those lonely socks and send them to a better place
HHMe time with a product or two from the bathroom
Replace any sponges, soap, toothbrushes etc which are not pleasant to use

Elsewhere in the forum, it says the new format was a glitch today hence back to "normal" but that they will be changing it. I missed all the excitement as I was at work.

Just loaded DW and set going, washed up few other bits and made a brew, only to come in the LR to find more plates - <rollseyes>

Littlies are in bed. DS had a meltdown at school club when I collected them as he wanted to play <aww> I must say I managed to keep my patience until we got home and he shut the door on me  so the little beggar was sent to bed. As in pjs and the works. He cried and cried but I am not having the sort of behaviour he displayed tonight. Anyway, he was suitably sorry, and I did allow him back down to eat, he's been back to himself since. Just told him tonight that I tried to tell him I understood why he was frustrated, and tried to be nice about about it, and he was rude and unpleasant and he'd better not do the same tomorrow! Kids eh? I did remind him it was parents eve tomorrow lol, he begged me not to tell his teacher :o

Need to put the recycling out. Also have dentist tomorrow morning ugh I think he wants to numb me this time. Hope they can get it finished before my hols...

Busy day but I did defrost the freezer and do a food shop. Glad I got the first coat on the threshold and dry as it has rained quite heavily here.

Tired now as I did not sleep well so just going to tidy the kitchen and wash up then I'll do the list and call it a day.

One basket of socks paired up ... 3 to go!

    DW fed again
    WM's part-filled

Children yelled at .. it is all I have done today .. I feel like a naggy old crone.. don't do that, put that down, pick that up, put that away, do as you're told, stop that noise, stop squabbling, get off that and the best of all.. if you don't start doing as you are told FIRST time I shall start slapping rather than repeating myself.. and share nicely! (mainly Dot, she has been a terror! She was better behaved at nursery today than she was last week though, the staff were quite relieved)

I'm ravenous.. and I was going to say nothing to eat.. sausage sarnies it is then.. NOM!

Well the missing student turned up grovelling profusely and promising to bring me a coffee next time. She's set 2 reminders on her phone so she doesn't forget; she's very sweet. Poor memory is such a source of frustration and angst and so many people - other tutors included - don't associate it with dyslexia so the students struggle through their course missing lessons and deadlines and getting told off. I spend about 80% of my time teaching organisation strategies. Shame I don't always get round to organising myself (and I'm not dyslexic).

Only flying today for me I'm afraid was a food shop and catching up on emails. Oh well there's always tomorrow. Working 9.30-3 I think.

Morning all. I'm going to catch up on some of yesterday's list first today. Have a banging headache so hope that disappears soon.
    Have a great day everyone.
