Sitting at uni waiting for a student who has probably forgotten she was meant to see me. Will give up and go home soon.
Yes new layout took me by surprise. Clever that it knows which one you last read, so may save time trying to find it (when I went in I had the option of clicking on 'unread'). Also clever it keeps the list at the top of the page all the time - it's what I always get students to do when typing a long essay, keep the title in view at all times so you don't go off topic!
While waiting for the student I've decluttered some emails and a few folders from Dropbox.
Went to zumba this morning which was fab; our instructor was back after 2 weeks on holiday, fitter and livelier than ever. If I could start every day with that I'm sure I would be ready to face anything. Unfortunately numbers dropped at some of her other classes, so zumba is only once a week. I do find that if I can bring myself to go to whatever is on at 9.30, it sets me up for the day.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -

Hi all
Just popping in quickly, I am about to make an emergency dash to the chemist. DS1 has started with his mysterious itchy skin problem and the docs cant get a prescription out for a couple of days.
Have hoovered everywhere, very quickly. Was going to just do downstairs but there was a good covering of dog hairs on the landing and stairs so I figure it would just get trodden everywhere else if I didnt do that as well.
Kitchen floor washed and cupboard doors swished, living room polished, lasagne made for tea ... right better get to the chemist before they close.0 -
Well I can report absolutely zero flying here today, sadly.
However I have been to the dentist and had my bridge reattached, been to work and been to the hospital to collect DD2'S bike. I duly wheeled/carried it through York to the bike shop. For most of the journey the back wheel wouldn't turn so I had to carry it. It was a bit easier for the last bit, but when I arrived at the bike place they pointed out that I had no inner tube. Goodness only knows where I lost it!
I have calculated that I saved at least £5 by using an all day bus ticket. By the time I had dropped off the bike I was so tired that I used the bus ticket to travel 2 stops....
Slimming World tonight. Goodness knows how I have done. In the long scheme of things I don't think I will worry too much.... I have too much else going on....
Hope all Flyladies are well. Hopefully tomorrow will be more normal...:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -

Porto type bow tie worked so four have been cut out and made a start on. I did spend one and a half hours cross stitching this morning then 30 mins unpicking what I'd don't as I'd stitched a whole word in the wrong place GRRSPC~12 ot 124

Evening all. Think a lot of people complained about the new format, me included. Glad to see it's normal tonight.

Looks like lots of you have had a tough day again esp CY.
Good news on OldDog, blood tests came back fine so just the arthritis to tackle and she is actually taking the medicine.
