Its not even been a week for our application, no further info requested yet.
Your situation sounds identical to mine, its me with the credit card my partner is the good one with 0 on his. Have you had any sort of update yet? What is the LTV you are going for?0 -
This is probably not much use to anyone, but I've had a fairly simple journey so far with my NatWest application.
We applied direct with an in-branch Mortgage Adviser on Friday (17th), and received a call from him today to say it has been approved subject to valuation by the underwriters. We both have all our banking with them so didnt need to provide any supporting docs or ID, which probably helped!0 -

My partner doesnt have any sort of credit, when we checked equifax reports we both had poor scores.
90% LTV, deposit gifted from my Dad - another worry for me! MA said it's not a problem.
I've just emailed MA he said natwest will be finalising the application tomorrow and then they will instruct the valuation then it should go to offer if everything is ok with the valuation. It seems too straight forward after reading everything on here.
I'm really worried but partner is not he is so laid back lol0 -

i think you'll be fine, genuinely think ours is due to a p**s poor MA who cant seem to keep track of what she is or isn't requesting. Appreciate those guys have a tough job but we got accepted on the 18/03 from natwest and went to underwriters and still no further along - just seems like our application has been completely messed up :-(0 -
Fingers crossed for you. Our MA seems to be very good, he replies to all emails and seems pretty confident.
I really don't want to let the seller down, feel like we have messed her around!0 -

You sound like you have a really good broker, you will hear something soon hopefully by the end of the week. I hope we hear something soon it feels like we are being treated like criminals all we want is a mortgage lol and we both have excellent credit scores.0 -

Yeah feeling same as you! Its crazy when you think about it, i work as a process improvement / business improvement manager specifically looking at bad processes within the company and how we can save money.......so as you can imagine from a process point of view this is driving me insane !! So much wrong with the process i dont even know where to start lol0 -
Grrr feel like I need to sound out!
Received an email yesterday from our MB stating Natwest couldn't loan us the initial amount stated due to my husbands 2 years previous accounts being low (hes self employed and was affected by the recession).
Agreed to pay the shortfall to make up the money, and again silence... My MB is still waiting for them to confirm.
This is driving me insane0 -

Oh noI hope you have some kind of resolution soon, it just seems to be lots of small things compounding to make the wait longer
