I hope you all hear very soon. My extra information only got sent in yesterday, so i think mine will be next week (at least i hope so, please not longer). Next week will be almost 4 weeks and then we have to wait again for the valuation. I now have more grey hair lol

Oh and Cat, i will be joining in with the large glass of wine :)

Oh and i forgot to add that my brokers said that when she spoke to Natwest, they said they were happy with everything and only wanted proof of deposit. Hopefully that wont change.

    That sounds like positive news!!

THe best of luck to you. Keep me posted :) x

Am so glad I have found this thread. Our application was submitted Tuesday through a mb who is brilliant but from my internet search I have found tonnes of terrible reviews which have scared me witless. I've been told they're taking 4 days to review applications and we had to pay the valuation on application. We are ftb needing 95%. This thread has settled my nerves somewhat.

    NatWest?

Debits £1 on your card to verify it and only takes the balance if your application is approved and valuation instructed.

Thanks for that information Kingstreet, will be checking my husbands bank account :)

Can i ask a quick question please Kingstreet? On the NatWest intermediary page where it states "assessing Further Information received on Monday 20th April" If my extra information went in on 21st April, does that mean they will be looking at it tomorrow? Thanks

Good luck lindsloo, hope you hear soon, this thread has been a god send for me :)

yes our application is with Natwest. Told it's a total cost of £248 which we have to pay on application, we gave payment details to MB and just assumed if we failed we lost the money but I will check OH's bank account tonight to see if they took £1 or the full amount.

    Thanks for the heads up.

Sorry cat, i cant check my own progress, i just googled "NatWest Intermediary Solutions" and it gives information on Current Processing Timescales. I think the website is only for mortgage brokers? but it does give a bit of information.
