  • MA has replied and said Natwest will take the fee and instruct the valuation today, he also said that yesterday lol

Until the fee is out of the bank i'm not convinced!

    Great news Playitsam!!

I just keep checking my account to see if the fee has been requested, even though I know I won't know anything 'til next week. :D

I'm really scared, I've just looked at the bank statements we submitted and on the most recent month I have been charged £6 for going into an un arranged overdraft by £2. It's the first time this has ever happened. I feel sick. I've seen online that it's an automatic rejection for doing something like this whatever the amount.

I've tried really hard to leave my mb alone but I think this warrants an email right now.
  • Its from my partners account so i cant check myself, we dont have a joint account set up yet.

Our MA said we have provided everything they have asked for so there should be no further underwriting. Fingers crossed

Once the fee has been taken you are on the home straight. Natwest underwrite fully before instructing valuation so it has been passed by the underwriter and a senior underwriter. It all comes down to what the valuation says. Its all electronic nowadays so could be end of next week you get an offer in post if your vendor is available at start of the week to let them round.

Don't take out any credit in the meantime. Its rare but lenders can pull out at the last minute right up to releasing the funds. Once you get the offer in the post your solicitors should get a copy with their instruction pack on how to get the funds. Once you get their copy badger your sols to open their mail as this pack is what they need to call the other sols in the chain to say "we are ready" give us a completion date.

Good luck. To all those waiting check your online bank to see if the fee has been taken - if took this afternoon it may say your balance is example £500 but only £250 available - it takes a couple of days to show on the statement but the funds would have been reserved.
  • Yay mortgage approved subject valuation so happy.
  • Email from MA to say has been fully agreed and valuation to be instructed :j

3 resolutions in one day, well done guys! You can enjoy your weekends a bit more now :D

On the plus side for us, fixtures and fittings list/land registry arrived in the post today, so looks like the vendor is wanting to commit to the sale.

I've been feeling like that the last week or two, every delay has had me on edge, so it's been nice to see something progressing :)
