Yes defiantly nice
at least you know there is something happening. we need to pay for our searches through our solicitor. We don't know what to do though as we have not been told if we have a mortgage yet. I think i might ring my broker before paying out for searches and see what she says? I don't want to lose the search fees if we cant get the mortgage.

Yeah we've taken a risk by doing it at the same time as the mortgage app, let's hope it pays off0 -

I think it will defiantly pay off for youand also you will not be holding anything up by having the searches start. I think maybe we should pay and think positive.

Jut out of curiosity, those who got a survey instruction/approval subject to valuation today, when did your application go in? Still waiting for our buyers and its been 4 weeks!0
-
My full application was submitted the 24th March so it has taken some time. They kept asking for more and more documents which was frustrating0

On the plus side for us, fixtures and fittings list/land registry arrived in the post today, so looks like the vendor is wanting to commit to the sale.
We got our fixtures & fittings list through on friday as well tarragon,
Guess the next step is just waiting on the valuation ! I know the sellers wife works from home monday - friday so hopefully showing the guys round to value should be a fairly quick process :-) fingers, thumbs n toes crossed !
With a bit of luck we might only have to move back in with my parents for 2/3 weeks, hopefully0 -
2/3 weeks shouldn't be too bad. We're very lucky in that we've been staying at my parents for a little while so we have nothing hanging over our heads while the buying process happens. But I cannot wait to have our own space again! You must be so excited.
I'm thinking we'll hear something tomorrow/Wednesday as we're back at the bottom of the pile after, hopefully, our MA submitted the written information at the end of last week.0 -
Some good news today
the EA rang and said the valuation will be done this week, hopefully Thur / Fri. So happy that it is now moving along. Hope everyone else hears ASAP

Wonderful! Must be great feeling like things are progressing. Are you getting a bit more excited about your new home now?:T

Thanks Tarragondragon. I was so exited when EA rang. I then got home and husband had an email from broker saying the same thing
Yes i am more relaxed now and exited. I am thinking more now about what decor etc i would like. I actually cant believe i have heard, felt like it would never happen. Will keep you informed about valuation. Hopefully you will hear very soon.0
