Nope, nothing. Threw my MA an email. Other half is suggesting I call Natwest, but I sort of don't want to again. Not like I can do anything!0 -

My Ma just phoned me. No news as such, just confirming that Natwest have accepted all our extra info and will take the next 2-3 days to go through it. She's going to phone them on Thursday and update me then.
She also assured me it was not because of anything untoward, the affordability was fine, they just wanted some extra info to confirm my partner's identity ( he doesn't have quite the extensive credit history I do), and it's all normal stuff.
I feel slightly better that she's being proactive and that it's mostly just me worrying. Roll on Thursday0 -
Update from me, not great though
So my MA contacted me again last week on friday to AGAIN confirm the amount outstanding on my student loan.
She then asked if i could reduce the amount outstanding on my credit card, which stood at 5k, down to 3k then natwest would reassess.
I managed to find the cash and have reduced down to 3k now its gone back to natwest to reassess.
My MA said she spoke to her manager at Natwest so surely her manager at Natwest must have given her an indication as to whether i would pass at the underwriters if i reduced it down to 3k?!
We made arrangements this weekend to move back in with my parents on the 9th of may because either way it looks like we are gonna be homeless come the 11th of may.
I'm really not happy with my MA, she is constantly getting info wrong and asking for documents or amounts i've already sent to the woman she works with. I'm tempted to phone natwest myself and see what the crack is, just dont feel like i'm getting anything except requests for £££0 -
I have not read this thread all the way through (as don't have half a day) but Natwest are being very difficult to deal with post application - pre offer at the moment.
Everything seems to be 2-3 days to be x and then we have been told different things by different people there.
For us it is easier to interpret as we do enough business to know most of the variables, but still tricky navigating.

Fingers crossed this gets sorted. We feel in the same boat as you the keep asking for additional information why can't they ask for it all at once, it is so frustrating.
We have collectively about 6 grand on credit cards but our combined salaries are 67K. I hope they don't request us to reduce our credit cards by a substantial amount.0 -

I'm really worried now, I have just over 5k on credit cards my partner has no debt but banks with Natwest. My MA is convinced it is going to be fine but I'm really not so sure.
Its not even been a week for our application, no further info requested yet.0 -
i think part of the issue is i'm applying solely in my name. I earn 45k a year and have 10 years employment history with the same employer.
My wife doesnt have the greatest credit score at all so the MA advised it goes in my name solely with the house offer being 114k then I have £11,500 to deposit against it.
Working out from just my salary after all my monthly bills are cleared I have just over a £1000 spare per month. We then have my wifes salary and she has just over a £1000 after bills as well and we dont have kids so we have more than enough to live on !! So frustrated i could scream lol0
