Does it make your food taste of coconut?

It all depends what you are cooking, if it is a stir fry with lots of ingredients then the coconut taste is lost.
This applies to strongly spiced too.
I have noticed a slight cocunut taste with some dishes, but I like to use 4-6 sprays, it's FREE :)

I agree, the providers can check the router/modem

It should be no problem to get the Modem/router exchanged if it is faulty.

    Good Morning :)

Shala ring your broadband providers and tell them about your modem etc and they will check it and sort it :)

Thanks we have already, they're saying it's the micro filter and they're sending us a new one but i found a spare one yesterday and it's still not working so it isn't that..

Smedley - if you are out of contract with Sky then you own the router, therefore, if you need a new one, you pay for it.. They give nothing free!!:(

Although being MSE I shall not be paying for a new one and will cancel and find a new provider if that what they say ;) anyone have any experience with Plusnet? They were ok price wise..

On a separate note, Thanks for all the best wishes.. I wish now I'd have lost more weight already so I didn't feel so embarrassed getting my tummy out! :o

I laughed too Jock and I think this will be my strategy for my first official weigh in. Going to go in my jeans and jumper with loads of change in my pockets :) The first week I will have lost loads and loads of weight :j

Sorry that is the wrong strategy. Definitely do this for the initial weigh in, you then want a small loss the first week so if you've done well than you may need to add some more change.

The second week is where you want to do well, as first weeks weight losses do not count for SOTW and only half for SOTM. So you want to then wear light clothes, no underwear, etc. and you'll be a hero and get your first sticker.

just remember whatever you start doing though, you'll have to do every week, so you might want to save sitting in a sauna for four hours prior to weigh in for a few months in.

Sorry to hear about the microwave accident. I've never tried that as I always do it in the oven with chips at the same time.
I was going to do it in the oven but it was full :D lesson learnt anyway :rotfl:

Not sure why it blew up, I pierced the bag like it said.. I can't even cook something you just have to ping, there's no hope!!!:rotfl:

The SW curry I bought and microwaved also split last time I tried it, curry sauce everywhere

Hmmm i see a pattern forming

Trying to get to the bottom of target range so I actually fall out the bottom as have a heavy two weeks coming up

My tuppence worth - really is it worth the hassle of change in pockets to claim a sow or sotm sticker? My wi outfit is pretty much the same week in week out - weight loss is a head mess at the best of times without trying to add extras... Plus really is a magnet that desired :/

I've a couple of magnets if anyone wants them , sashes, certificates the heap! :rotfl:

To add to the Cornichons / Gherkin debate, Sainsburys gherkins in normal vinegar are my fave! I say no to the ones in sweet vinegar!:(

Currently eating them rolled in chicken with a little bit of light dairylea.

I'm going to attempt Cauli Mash tonight to have with salmon & veg.

Sorry Maman, yes trip wasn't that great few family dramas etc. Glad to be home and back to my normal routine and only having to answer to myself. The trossachs are lovely and would like to go back another time and investigate at my leisure when things are less hectic and I am at full health to enjoy.

Still suffering with the kidney infection so been really really tired all week so looking forward to a lovely lie in tomorrow.

Plans for the weekend are to sort out some spring clothes in the house, get some rubbish out of it and heading out for a meal with a friend for a catch up but its a nice restaurant and will have fish or steak etc so it will be ok. I don't want to see any chips or fried foods burgers etc for about a month! Looking forward to a relatively lazy one!

If you are certain that it's the modem, e.g. All the devices drop out at the same time.

I had this once at my parents house, every time someone called on the phone the internet dropped, I found that the micro filter was connected wrongly :eek: Of course it could be something else.

    FREE Modem and reduced costs....
I always get the best deals with Sky
First look at these providers and look at their deals
Plusnet, Virgin, Bt, TalkTalk, Post-Office, note their deals down.

Next call Sky, press the keys so that you are cancelling and you will be put through to retention.

Now you have seen better deals else where, and you are tired with the drop outs, Bingo, the offers start to flow, bargain a new modem for free.
Be prepared, Sky or other will know exactly what their competitors are offering.

I ring up every time my contract is about to expire and threaten to leave, I managed to get fibre unlimited for £10.00 a month last time. I have never paid for hardware or installation.
I am a devil, I often say when I am pushing for the very best deal: "you must be able to do better than that".

You could also approach other providers to get their best deal, this could stop you chasing your tail with the same problems.

Hope this helps somehow, good luck with everything Shala.

Give it a try when you are feeling up to it, and tell us what happened.

Sorry to hear you are still suffering with kidney infection lantanna. I have symptoms of urine infection - seeing gp this afternoon :(. Haven't tried cauli mash but have been wanting to try the cauli rice.

Re internet providers - we are currently with BT - more than happy with service (fibre) it's just the cost that is quite . Previously were with Post Office for phones and broadband and the package we had with them was very good, for calls, broadband and service and if they did fibre, we would move back to them. We were quite happy with just the PO broadband but DS moved back home and decided we 'needed' fibre. He reckons if we moved back we would be complaining all the time. :rotfl: We have had Sky in the past and the product was good but the customer service was utter carp. They overcharged us one month by £99 - the only way they would refund us was by putting credit on account from which our monthly sub would be taken. It didn't matter that they could have made our account overdrawn and had charges to pay. Would be hard pushed to go back to them.

Just had a Yeo Valley 0% Greek Style Lemon Yoghurt - 1 syn per pot - not too bad - on offer at Asda for about £1.80 (pack of 4).

Indeed, Sky get things wrong. With alarming frequency.
I did get good compensation for all that hassle though.

Sometimes it is good to switch.
I just wish I could help Shala more.

The Yoghurt sounds yummy, will be looking out for that one!
