  • Everyone seems to have an opinion on my weight now I've lost it, generally I get told I'm too thin when it is blatantly not true, what they actually mean is that you are thinner than you were.

I think EE works really well as well, when I do an SP day my body craves sweets to make up for the lack of carbs.

I thought I'd got rid of all my nice easter egg chocolate, someone has turned up with a quality streets one for me :(

Going to ask for Cadbury's only next year, I don't care for it.

Back from shopping and WI and amazingly have lost another lb! Really didn't think that was likely. I am now only 0.5lb off bottom end of target - not a place I particularly like to be as it's all too easy to lose a bit too much and drop out - been there, done that, got the t-shirt!

Think I'm going to eat some of the rhubarb pie I'm planning on making this week as I've got loads of rhubarb growing at the moment. It's growing faster than we can manage to eat it; usually end up giving quite a bit away to neighbours, however the one who used to take most of my excess I've given a crown to she probably won't be wanting much, if any, this year!

Looking at your menu, wouldn't it be a bit better to have bacon with hotel breakfast as sausages might be high syn? I did 4 days of that last week but added mushrooms as well and was able to have fruit & cereal as well. Helped to not feel very hungry at lunchtime.

    Thanks maman :)

I would have bacon but the hotel doesn't serve it! there's beans, scrambled egg, sausages, white or brown bread (toast it yourself), cheese, yogurts, mini muffins, croissants and little muller yogurts (vitality though not lights - there were lights until our last stay) oh and chopped grapefruit or bananas or apples. All of the cereals are sugary except cornflakes which I'm not a huge fan of and the muesli option is well...pretty stale tasting and I've never seen anyone else try it!

As we have 2nd (11.00), 4th (14.30) and 6th (18.00) if there's any overtime etc meal times can be thrown off dramatically as we have all the stretching/de-gloving/chair transfers etc to do after every game so we tend to try for a substantial brekkie (otherwise I'd just have banana on toast) then a lighter lunch (as in between games it's just a quick sandwich really) then a much later than usual evening meal.

The London teams have their staff bring loads of food along (wraps, a cool box on wheels full of sandwich fillers and plenty of cake/flapjack/treats generally) which I tried with our lot but no one touched it and we always ended up bringing loads home! I might try again next season to make lunches a bit better depending on what venues we are told we are in

    More losses!!:T:T

Your little gain is probably because you've been off work tweets. Any change to a routine can do that. Next week you'll probably smash it.:)

How strange that the hotel doesn't serve bacon lush. I suppose all you can do is grin and bear it and get back on plan when you get home. How did you manage when you were getting to target?

Talking of bacon, I had a change of plan for lunch. DH fancied a bacon sandwich and as he'd been gardening all morning I indulged him (usually he gets his own lunch). So I finished it off by having bacon, eggs, mushrooms and an apple to snack on while I was waiting.

Absolutely no point! The only person you would be lying too is yourself :rotfl: I'd love to lie to myself about my weight right now lol but sadly I know it would be a lie :rotfl:

Well I had a chat to my mum and she decided that she could do with losing some weight so are both going to a local SW class together :j I have been to classes before and I did not really find them inspirational but i am hoping this consultant will be better and that I get motivated to slim. I would really grudge wasting £5 each week for nothing!

Breakfast went well but unfortunately I had a big bowl of ice cream and easter egg for lunch at mums :o so hardly getting on track :o

Just about to cook a healthy meal and we did go for a massive walk today which although it won't cancel out the lunch has given me a bit of much needed fresh air and exercise :D
