Minded to jack it in and try something different.
Hi MrsO - as a lurker, you've probably realised that quite a few of the regulars here don't go to group, including myself. SW does work and once you get your head round it, it will become easier.
You can ask us as many questions as you like, tell us what you're struggling with, there's always someone around who can help.
Don't give up.

Rummer - I'm really motivated (and demotivated) by clothes so I know exactly where you're coming from. I think Meg's idea is great, I love charity shops and if you need to get an 'in between' wardrobe it makes you feel better if you're not spending loads. I find New Look sales really good too.
My plan today is EESP
B: porridge with berries (0.5 A and 1st
L: HM BNS and carrot soup with bread (2ndand spread (1), quark with berries
HM Veggie chilli with quorn and loads of veg
S: nectarine, pear, skips (4), dark choc kit kat (5)
I've swapped my working from home day with DH this week, so I'm doing SP today rather than on Weds. I've got routines with food when I'm in the office (which involve quite a bit of yoghurt!) so I'd have to give some serious thought in order to do it for a whole week.
32b - am really impressed by your whole week of plans! I have various SW meals in my head (and the fridge/freezer) for the week and am fairly set on what I'll have for breakfast and lunch on office-based days but I can't quite find the ability to forward plan on a stricter basis0 -
Silly Question Alert!
Best way to fry an egg using fry light spray? Massive fail this morning ended up sticking to the pan and burning. Not using enough sprays or too high heat?
Feeling stuffed. Can't remember the last time i actually ate breakfast!0 -

Yes, I also have trouble with that!! I've taken to using a microwavable poacher now.0 -

Don't give up!! I've never been to a group, or even signed up online.....just looked things up on the web, and joined lots of discussions like this. Also in some groups on Facebook. Me & hubby have only been doing this for a couple of weeks and we're getting on great. I've not got much to lose (and neither has hubby really) but really like the variety of food you can eat. I do think that planning plays a big part and also not buying things like cakes & biscuits.....if they're not there, you can't eat them. Keep going....you can do it.0 -
*ahem* try again.. shhhussshh Lois don't tell a soul!
Morning
Agreed with the others MrsOptimist - don't use your consultant as an excuse to give up.. Try a different class, come on here, try minimins - you'll find the level of support you need somewhere between all of those.
Rummer - clothes shopping is the worst when you still feel too big, especially summer clothesi find the cheapy shops have the worst cut/materials if you want to hide specific bits.
Green day for me today
B - strawberries, quark, choc shot (1)
L - beetroot and feta salad (cousocus, leaves lime juice etc)(hea)
T - BBQ lasagne (hea) salad, pickles
S - crisps (4) milk (2) wholemeal soda bread (heb) apple
Still got a heb left but not sure what i'll have
Hope everyone starts their week off well.. :TMortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -

I have found that by just cooking until the white sets, putting lid on and turning heat off works best for me, usually by the time bacon is cooked, 10mins, the egg is ready, having cooked through in its own heat.Slimming World at target0 -

Thanks for the support - it means a lot. Still haven't heard from my consultant - and have had a weekend completely of the rails - guzzling wine by the bottle, stuffing my face with crisps, chocolate - you get the pictue.
I am on holiday from the weekend for a week so would like to get back on track before I go - but don't think I will be returning to that group - some of the people I will miss but I don't feel supported and IMAGE therapy is excruciating when you are naturally a private person. I know I am using the Consultant as an excuse not to do it - but I do want to lose weight.
I have a lot to lose (6 stone) so it should come off quite quickly if I am motivated enough.
Today I have had
2 weetabix (HEB) SS Milk (HEA)
Pear
I will also have an apple and a Satsuma.
Lunch is lettuce, potato, beetroot, and cold steak slices.
For dinner I will have a jacket potato with beans and probably some cold red cabbage.
Syns - mmm not so sure yet.
I love fruit & veg but I also love guzzling wine and could happily do it every day - although I don't.
I will swap the wine for vodka & diet coke methinks and buy some low fat crisps (savoury is more my thing than sweet).
Exercise, I dont do anything really - although I had a recently brief medical at the GP and he said my lung function, blood pressure was excellent so I don't appear to have suffered healthwise because of my weight - yet.
I am 41 years old and want to lose weight for health rather than being a catwalk model! I am currently a size 18/20 and do carry my extra stones well - I just look bulky rather than fat.
What exercise do you recommend - apart from gym or running as I don't think my knees could handle that!0
