Hypnotherapy pondering: Sorry, Smedley, it wouldn’t work for me! I have often eaten something like chocolate cake, which I really think is disgusting (honest, I do!) if it’s all I can find when I just want SOMEthing! I had the Paul McKenna book and CD and the CD was sooooo relaxing, I fell asleep quite quickly!

Good for you,TIE, SallyC, wizkid, Smedley, LordDuke and gbatey.

Ha Ha, maman, wish we had lost to hoops, but we are one league below in the championship, and we lost to Hearts, who were today confirmed as champions with 7 games still to play!

shala, my DD has a Tassimo and she keeps fab wee etoile de russie tea pods for me. Illogical I know, but it’s a lovely treat when I visit. I think there are a few tea varieties available.

    Happy travels, Lois.

I have found shoes that are ideal for my outfit, but still no bag, oh well maybe I'll do without! The colour is not gold/silver/cream/beige/sand/off white. It's called oyster on the dress label but there is no pink tone. It's sort of grey, but not. The shoes are labelled beige. I did see a bag online that might do - a small wristlet - but it was £745!!! Maybe not for me!

Don't know what I'm eating tomorrow, because I've not done any planning yet. Off to do that now.

    See you all tomorrow.

I've been there. We did a Plymouth to Santander crossing once and while my sealegs are pretty good my SIL stayed in the cabin and we just took her a couple of cream crackers.

You're brilliant at the YS bargains meg. It just proves you don't have to spend a fortune on SW.

Oh now I know which team you are! I looked at the table and you're not doing too badly at all. We're thrilled that LFC lost today as they looted our club and have no idea how to use our players to best advantage. Not that I like MUFC much more (who does?;)).

I read an article this week about FAB (Fifty and Beyond) and it said that matching shoes and bag were ageing but I still think it looks right for a special occasion. I'd have a trawl around the town including cheapo places like Primark and New Look and see what you can find.

Just had our roast, feeling absolutely stuffed! Don't you just love SW!:D

Fed up with SW at the moment - really struggling to get back into the zone. I often dip in and out of this thread although never post. I am a bit peeved with my Consultant. I didn't go to group last week so I got a text on Thursday saying how I was missed and could he help me with anything so I immediately texted back saying yes I am struggling, what can he suggest to get me focussed etc. It is now Sunday evening and I am still waiting for a reply...

Minded to jack it in and try something different.

Thank you for the new thread and the lists Shala

Congratulations to those who have lost weight and to those who have gained, chins up, we can do this!

    I need to report a +1 lb gain :(

This week I have been under the weather and although my eating has been reasonable (not great though) all I have done is sit/sleep. Today I went to try on some clothes as I am in desperate need of casual clothes and it was awful :( everything seemed to be made of clingly and unflattering material and nothing I tried on did me any favours at all. It really upset me and I am now dreading the nicer weather :o. I just need some tops to wear with jeans and I didn't think it would be that hard. any ideas for inexpensive yet flattering tops/tshirts?

So this week I am back on the plan properly, the shop has been done and the house is full of healthy foods and the nutella has gone :o. Back on track with a positive attitude and a trimmer waist!

So your consultant isn't that good that's no reason to give up on SW it really does work as many of us on here know, instead of just dipping in, why not post your menus and let us try and help you, we are a nice friendly lot when you get to know us.

Have you thought of going to a few charity shops and trying different styles and materials, If you don't like the clingy tops in the high street you can often find a nice 100% cotton top in the charity shops

Don't just jack it in! Is there another Group in your area you could go to run by another consultant? They're all different.

If that's not possible, why not do as Meg suggests and post your menus on here daily and there will always be someone around who will be able to help you. Or if the problem is you can't decide what to have you could have a look at menus posted by others for some ideas.

Stick with it, it always seems to work although it can often be quite slow at times.

    Good luck.

Will be back later once I've sorted out today's plan!

D - LO roast beef (HEB2); boiled potatoes, peas & pickles

You sound exactly like I have felt at times. I think for a lot of us various aspects of SW wears thin at times. My advice would be take what you want from it and ignore the parts of it that annoy you. I gave up on my consultant a long time ago.
