Oh, I'm thinner and my clothes fit better, but, the pounds coming off is so slow.:) It has taken me two years and I am not there yet. I keep yo yo ing. The consolation is ,that I am eating better and my diabetes is controlled well so, I shouldn't grumble.
Hope you all have good results this week :T:T

Shala - Ive never heard of pom bears, what are they? I read it as p o r n bears, that made me sit up and take notice! :rotfl:

:eek:they're crisps Lois, rudey mind :rotfl: little teddy bear shaped crisps, under 90 calories and you get quite a lot in a bag.. Would put a link on but I'm on my iPad. Smokey bacon flavour is the best  but these were plain..

Wiz - I'd love to lose 1lb a week steadily, so it's not all bad!! At the moment I lose a lb then put 5 on

Selement - Jo really wasn't good, and Tina looked a bit like one of the Addams family.. I think they should have stayed Split up unfortunately. I also lose track of my food if I don't write stuff down, it's easy to forget what you've eaten through the day, hope using your food diaries again helps you get back on track..

Dead jealous of your tassimo jock :D I would love one but I don't like coffee so no point really :rotfl: Oreo hot chocolate sounds yum though.. I'm sure you could treat yourself after that long walk!!

Hopefully another day on track today - red for me
    b - magic pancakes(heb), fruit platter
L - boiled egg, beetroot, crackers(heb), cheese (hea) salad
T - shepherds pie with bns topping, carrots, green beans
    S - p o m bears (4.5);) milk (hea)
    Have a good day xx

    Morning all :)

    STS for me please Shala

I'm a bit annoyed because I've been really good this week  Although my body composition has been changing over the past few weeks. I have way less fat% and way more muscle% so that could have something to do with it.

We got a Tassimo the other day, I'm slowly being tempted by the Oreo hot chocolates

I really want to try the Oreo but no one else in the house would have it so I'd have to drink the whole pack!

No, you shouldn't grumble. You're doing brilliantly under the circs. Keep it up!!:)

Sorry you're finding it hard with DS at the moment beanie. I'm more likely to turn to drink rather than food if I'm upset.;) My DD2 is irritating me at the moment but I'm trying hard to take moral high ground and say nothing but it's lonely up there!

We leave Tuesday about lunchtime and we're doing an overnight near Madrid, then head up to Santander to board the ferry which leaves at 21.15 and arrives at 16.30 so we'll be home by tea time on Thursday.

That's a long time to avoid the temptation to eat rubbish so I'm planning to take a few healthy nibbles to snack on like cherry toms, hard boiled eggs, salad and baby bels.

Are you coming back on Brittany Ferries lois? I've used them a lot over the years and their buffet dinners can be very SW friendly. You could eat your own weight in smoked salmon if you want and there's always fruit. Of course there are loads of naughties too but I do enjoy it and the full English.

Agreed that writing everything down is a brilliant way of keeping on track selement. Do post when you can.:)

I'm off to do a shop in a bit then I can get back on track. I'm sure I've eaten enough to gain a pound this week and I'm out for a nibbly supper tomorrow.

    EE plan:
B: NA Ribena, baked beans, HEB toast
L: will have to buy something, maybe a JP when I get back
D:roast beef, SW raost potatoes and parsnips, cabbage, carrots, green beans/broccoli
Syns: maybe 2 small Yorkies, gravy, scrape of spread, tsp horseradish and weekend wine!

I just ate a bag of pom bears :) Plain though as my local tesco appears to have stopped selling the bacon ones :(

I buy them for the children, obviously...

They were my reward for getting out for my walk. Did just over 3 miles - nowhere near what jock is up to now!

  • Morning all!

Happy travelling next week Lois, hope it all goes smoothly journey and food wise.

Had porridge with berries for breakfast (A+B) and have made a chana masala for later so I might make it an EESP day as I haven't had any yoghurt today, just a nectarine as a mid morning snack. Problem is OH is talking about going to McDonald's for lunch as he wants to do the Monopoly thing (and he loves the food) but I see that even a small fries is 8 syns!! I'm guessing I'll just be having a diet coke and eating either before or after. I might suggest he gets a drive thru instead and then it might not be so torturous!! I normally have a vegetable deluxe but I couldn't find that in the online syns thing.

    Have a good day all
