    Thanks Beanie
I had STS last week, so been trying to increase fibre with Sweetcorn this week.
I stick to the EE plan, I cannot bear having to eat copious amounts of SP foods, I just like my dishes of tasty Asian and Italian food too much.
    SW loss= 15.5kg / 2st 6.2lb

Thanks all.. you lot are lovely.. grouphug.gif

Some brilliant loses coming in :j

BEG - baked oats - Heb oats, splash of milk or yogurt, 1 egg, flavourings and bake for 20-25 minutes at 180' - I sometimes slice a banana on top but that's tweaking in the SW rules as it's cooked and I don't syn it

TIE - sorry to hear about the awful child. We probably all have someone we work with who annoys the hell out of us, but it's different when its a child you have to put up with and can't say anything to them!

Welcome back jock  i'm sure any gain will come off pretty quick again. As long as you had a wonderful holiday, that's what matters x

I used to do SW chips for the freezer maman, but now I have the actifry I don't bother - wasn't lush, BEG or CP doing some wedges that way - sorry I can't remember who it was that mentioned it :o
    I
DH started with a migraine last night.....-

The kids party we went too yesterday...
Were these two events related ;):rotfl:

Seriously though, hope he feels better.. x

Off plan day today :o OH has a bit of a poorly tummy so it's soup and sandwich for our lunch and god knows what's for tea.. i'm not going to bother too much about it, there's tomorrow to get back on it!
    Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.

    Hello everyone,

I'm new to the forum and new to SW.
I really want to give SW a try, my weight has just built up over the past few years and I need to make a change for my health and happiness.

I can't afford the classes as I'm on a student budget but from what I can see the flexibility and option of the plan really do work so I want to try to give it a go from home (is this do-able??)

I'm looking at buying to welcome pack off Ebay to give me an idea of what to do.

Does anyone have any tips of getting started? :)
Started SW 16/04/15 - 4lb off so far!

Hi Sympatea - welcome to the thread, you'll get plenty of good advice from the regulars here so feel fee to ask any questions.

Following the plan from home is very do-able, I don't go to a group and there are a few others like me.

If you buy a starter pack on eBay make sure it's a 2015 one as there were some changes to the plan that were announced in January.

We do regular challenges on this thread, the current one has 2 or 3 weeks still to run so it's not too late to join in. Shala-Moo produces a weekly chart and all you need to do is decide how much you want to lose by 3rd May, let Shala know, decide on a weigh in day, and report your result in big, bold, bright text.

    Good luck!

    LL :)

Thank you for the warm welcome, I look forward to using this thread as some helpful motivation and support. Good to know I'm not alone!

I'm not really sure what a realistic goal is in 2-3 weeks since I'm only just starting? I've heard some people lose loads the first week and some it takes time. Maybe something like 2lb just to kick things off?

Hi and welcome it is very do-able to do the plan at home and not attend a group, theres great advice and support on her. The welcome packs usually go for a lot on ebay so if you can it would be well worth going to a group just once to join and get your pack
Not sure if there are any half price offer on at the moment but will have a look for you.

Here you are free membership with Bella, you will only pay the £5 class fee and get your starter pack also the consultant will explain the plan to you.

Back again, dinner is cooking so it's too late to change my mind so I'm hoping what I'm cooking is free food!

Went to Tesco today to buy some of the barbecue pork but they didn't have any so we came away with some Gressingham duck legs in orange sauce which we're having with roasted vegetables - butternut squash, carrots, peppers and garlic, cooked in the actifry.

Please can someone tell me if the duck is free?

Also, can you tell me if birds eye fish chargrilled with tomato and herb (300g) is free please?

    Thanks, LL :)
