  • Morning all.

Just wanted to send you hugs Mrs_Ryan, I've heard about how painful that is, I hope you can find ways to manage it.

TIE - great news about your son's new job!

Hugs to Beanie too, that's rotten. Even when you know it's not true, it's a nasty thing to be accused of.

Am going to try for a few SP days this week to get things moving but need to plan out today before I can post it.

    Morning all :)

Well it's a beautiful sunny morning here today, it's so clear you can see for miles. Hope it's fine for everyone.

Beg - love that t-shirt, I might get one of those myself. It's out of stock in size 22 and 24 online and I had one of those moments when I didn't think they had my size - then I remembered a 20 will fit me now. :D

Mrs Ryan - sorry to hear you've got fibromyalgia, I know a couple of people with that and it's not pleasant. On a positive note, at least you have a diagnosis so you can get whatever help you need.

Tie - great news about your son :j

Thanks for all the congratulations - I'm actually surprised how easily I'm resisting all the temptations. It's definitely about mind over matter, I'm in the zone and focused on the goal so I'm prepared for weak moments.

My SW mantra is 'nothing tastes as good as being slim feels' and it's so true. If I start thinking about eating something synful I remind myself of the nice clothes I've got put away that will fit me again this year if I resist.

By the time we return to Spain in November I'm hoping to have lost at least another 2 stone which will make such a difference, not just in what I can wear but healthwise as well.

    Have a good weekend everyone.

    Hi all
Sorry I've not been around. Afraid I've had some bad news- I've got fibromyalgia. I've barely eaten for the last couple of weeks due to being in agonising pain and when I have eaten I certainly haven't been on plan. Haven't been to group in two weeks either- just weighed myself and had a shock- I'm the lowest weight I've been in a while. Am going to try to force myself to go to group on Monday. It's not going to be pretty but I need to try.
    Hope you're all ok x

Oh poor you. You don't seem to get much luck healthwise.:A We've missed you posting. I always think of you as something of an expert on shapewear and how to manage SW with limited cooking facilities. I do hope you manage to get back on track from Monday.

Good to hear you sounding positive lois. I think you psyched yourself up well for coping with the chocs. 2 stone by November is very doable, just about a pound a week.

Going in the right direction CP.:)

Sally I've found the best SP days I've had is with swede/carrot mash or cutting carrots into big chunks the size of new potatoes. I'm sure it's psychological. Soup with veg and pulses is good too. We've got people at my group who are using spiralizers for fake pasta and cauliflower rice but that's too much faffing for me.

Not sure about lunch again today. I've plenty of eggs so may make a little frittata/omelette.

    EE plan:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB toast, baked beans, HEA milk for drinks
    L: frittata?
D: Tesco pulled pork, chips, mushrooms, tomatoes, peas
Syns: scrape of spread, oven chips if feeling lazy, half Crunchie at football, weekend wine:)

Not many home games left so Crunchie consumption will stop soon until next season.:D

Great to see you have worked out that weight loss, and a healthy eating lifestyle starts with getting your attitude and mind right.

So many people do not do as well, because they have not gotten their thinking right.

I hope others will take note and learn from your experiences. :)

    Well Done Lois

    BEG - dress is lovely..

Meg - great result on the battery - if I change mine do you think it would knock 5lb of me? :rotfl: you should have told the housing officer about all your fella shenanigans.. then she'd know you didn't need supervising..

TIE - :j:j well done on your son for the job news..

Lauri, Beanie - hope your both ok xx

MrsRyan - hugs to you.. hope they can manage it a bit for you!

I'm having a bit of a health scare myself at the moment and I know you can only do the days where you can when you're poorly.. but that's better than nothing!

I've got a consultants apt next Friday (found some breast lumps :() so i'm just doing whatever I can on the days I feel up to planning - I can only control what I control and hopefully don't let the anxiousness and worry send me to the sweets/chocolate/pizza/crisps (delete as appropriate)

So positive day today so far - Just made some lovely lunch hopefully, just chucked some chicken, sausages, left over veg, eggs and cheese in dish and baked it. Like a Spanish tortilla/frittata/quiche-y type thing - it better be nice!! I'm saving my Heb's and syns until this evening so I can make some baked oats whilst OH is out.. so red day for me today

    B - didn't have any
L - quiche thing (hea & 1 syn for veg sausage), salad, pickles
T - Cajun chicken, courgette fritters, carrot & beetroot salad
S - baked oats (heb) banana, milk (hea) puft (3.5)

extra syns left for if I want anything else..

    Have a good one xxx

Hi all, weather is nuts here. Got thoroughly soaked walking the dog but now it's glorious sunshine :p

Sorry to hear of your diagnosis Mrs R, constant pain is draining as I know but mine is nothing compered to that. Hope it's manageable soon.

Oh Shala, fingers crossed it's nothing serious. Scary stuff though.

My tummy is in knots thinking about going back to work next week :(. Am seriously thinking of changing my job and all because of the stress of working with 1 child - 1 child for gods sake it's making me ill so is it worth it. I love the rest of my job and I know it's not the child's fault, more the lack of support but am struggling to cope. Had 2 weeks off so should be relaxed but have spent the whole time thinking/stressing about it all :(.
loss .5lb piffling amount but still a loss. Oh and meds seem to be working, I even had a flat tummy this morning (well was laying down :rotfl:). Still drinking loads (for me) loo visits are driving me mad though :o.
Have a good weekend all and keep the faith.

    Frogga,where are you?
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

:rotfl: Hope you managed to get one Lois. Yesterday they had every size except 8s. Just had text to say mine has arrived in store for collection - wasn't expecting it till tonight. It is a good feeling not to need the biggest size available. ;) I bet you will knock the next 2st off easily as you really seem to be in the zone atm. :D

Off out this afternoon to a 4yr old's birthday party so will try to avoid naughty nibbling. If the food is only in kiddi-size portions - they will pop into the mouth before I have even realised they have gone in  Will try to be good but .............. ;)
