Morning all
Reporting in with a loss of 1.5lbs for the chart please Shala. Another in the slow and steady camp, but celebrating a new number appearing on the scales.
I used to use those Blue Dragon sauces before SW and particularly liked the lemon one, but it's so easy to make a low syn sauce from simple ingredients that I don't buy them anymore.
Hope the new battery sorts your scales out Meg - love the Garfield cartoon.
Denise - have to laugh at your DH eating the same things... it's amazing how people convince themselves they're following the plan and conveniently forget eating 7 chocolate biscuits!
Have a good day everyone.

He also doesn't eat the same breakfast and lunch as me usually either!
Breakfast is usually cornflakes with loads of milk & sugar and lunch if either LOs or cheese sandwiches - so no way he's eating the same as me apart from dinner in the evening and if he has LOs for his lunch.
Weekends his meals will be the same but again he snacks in between meals - crisps, biscuits, apple pie. It's a good job I'm not particularly bothered by any of these otherwise I'd really struggle to stick to plan!!!

I quite agree, making dishes is easier than I first thought
I was going to make the "Chinese Lemon Chicken", but I need to invest in a good Zester first.
I have loads of the sauces left, I bought them when they were on offer, before SW days. It seems a shame to throw them away, so I will give them a try, especially the Lemon one you mentioned
This is why the books are such a good investment, lower Syn's, healthier, and I save moneySW loss= 15.5kg / 2st 6.2lb0 -

So pleased you went back for the dress b-e-g. I'd try Primark for a coloured cardi.
Not seen MrsR for a while either but I know she did have some events on.
I suppose like a RL SW group, they'll be back and get a friendly welcome. Thanks tweets yes I tried 3 times same result will try a new battery as you suggest :rotfl:If they still don't behave they are going in the bin almost gave me a heart attack this morning.
That makes them a Health and Safety hazard so if they won't show a loss then out they must go!;)
No problem not having the extra HEXs Sally. They are optional and you seem to be covered healthwise. I know I'm repetitive (boring even:D) but although it's not essential I think you need the Speed food even on Green and mostly veg rather than too much fruit. Aside from the low calorie type benefits it also means you're less likely to have too much free food on your plate so helps control portion size. It's quite nomal for losses to slow down after a while. Do you have much more to lose?Morning all

That's great lois.:T You're obviously coping well despite being back at work and surrounded by syns.
I think we must have very similar DHs denise. Mine eats SW dinners and some SW breakfasts but as he doesn't like eggs he has (sugary, non HEB) muesli on other days. For lunch he invariably has a sandwich and crisps or the healthy option of biscuits! Then, just like yours, he tempts me with chocolate or crisps in the evening. Last night it was a piece of shortbread.:o
My EE plan:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB porage, HEA milk
L: will buy something when shopping and report backSW Spaghetti Bolognese
Syns: squirt of syrup, parmesan and weekend wine.
I feel fatter today, so probably last weekend catching up:(.0 -

Picked up a blue (bit like dark cornflower) little short cardi this morning from sainsbobs but think the yellow or even white would look a bit brighter. I was in Primani yesterday but didnt get the dress until I was in next town. I did pick up some white jeggings in a size 18 - toyed between 18 and 20. Seen the queue at the fitting rooms and cba to wait. Still have to try them on yet but for £7 I thought I would give them a go.

Just back from town put new battery in scales and YAY its STS phew . so relieved was thinking could never have steak and ale pie and chips with lager again . and doomed to a miserable old age :rotfl: Thanks again Tweets wouldn't have thought about the battery.
Also brought back new telly as old one decided not to play anymore only bought a small one as ordered sky as the offer includes a free TV and half price for 12 months, which will be a good saving on what I am paying BT but you don't get the free tv for 30 days so I needed to get one for SKy to be installed. Then the small one can go in bedroom.
 I think you need a degree in engineering to set the thing up whatever happened to plugging in and pressing a button :rotfl:
I can manage that.
Anyway back to SW picked up a reduced bag of lemons from you know where, 10 for 50p so going to make some syn free lemon curd.Slimming World at target0 -

Thanks Maman - it's a good challenge back about the speed food and I do appreciate the reminders as it's so easy to underdo the speed. I do have a lot of fruit as snacks when I'm in the office (I have far less when I'm at home strangely) but lunches and dinners generally have a good amount of veg in. My lunch today was a mugshot and not sure about the tomato content, but I did have a pot of tomatoes and cucumber with it. The Dal I'm having for dinner has got aubergines, onions, tomatoes (again!) and a load of spinach as well as the lentils, so it's a good proportion of veg. There's not many vegetables that I don't enjoy (just sprouts really), so that makes life easier!
I've now got 1.5 stones to lose to get to the very top of my healthy weight range. Ideally I want to lose another 0.5 stone on top of that. So, it feels achievable but still a fair way off.0 -
Meg - I've never made the syn free lemon curd - does it taste like the lemon curd you'd buy from the SM? Also how long does it keep?
Have you tried the syn free lemon meringue pie? Quite fancy giving that a go at some time.
