Just had a huge catch up with you all as I didn't manage to get on over the last couple of days.

Well done to all the losers. :T

Had a lovely day out with DH yesterday - tried on lots and lots of dresses  and actually bought myself the blue/yellow dress from Monsoon that I showed you all a few weeks back. Now I think I will look for a yellow cardi/shrug to go with it - couldn't realy justify the one in Monsoon at £35. Actually went out prepared to try dresses on - tights and shapewear slip (affectionately known as my sucky-in thingy). Couldn't believe how comfy those things are - nothing digging in and got to wear my own bra ;).

Off to Sainsbobs this morning and will have a top up shop, either today or tomorrow at Lidl and possibly Asda.

Have been totally on track this week despite being out so hopefully I will be rewarded on Monday night.

Another gorgeous day here - hope you all have some sunshine too.

Has anyone seen our little green friend frogga and ginvzt - and to anyone else who has disappeared into lurkdom.

    Morning all

meg - i was just eating my tea when i saw that picture _pale_ :rotfl:

Just be mindful of those Blue Dragon sauces, i'm not sure how many they feed but they are 5-8 syns per sachet depending on flavour.. the Peking Lemon one is 8 syns

For my stirfry's i just do what maman does and add a bit of soy sauce and 5 spice - Amoy now do a soy sauce with 5 spice and garlic already in it, it's really nice and completely syn free :T

STS for me last night which was ok, had a few too many sweeties and chocolate last week. I'll try and be better next week.. OH put on 2.5 so i think i got lucky!

Not sure on menu today - failed to prepare again but i'm determined to stay on track!

have a good day - great day for a healthy BBQ! ;)

At least it's half a pound in the right direction sally.

Strangely enough the Lidl nearest to my DD was closed too BUT they also closed the next nearest at the same time. Crazy!

Sorry if I've said this before but your menu looks Green so you could have extra HEXs if you want. Cheese and crackers?:)

Thanks Maman, I had serious Lidl withdrawl at the start and we don't have an Aldi close by either! It's slightly nicer since the refurb, but I can't see how it's taken 3 months to achieve.

My menus would be pretty much green every day but I've decided to stick with EE this time around to see if I can keep up the momentum and lose a bit more quickly. Although it does go against the grain to not have absolutely everything I'm entitled to!!

Seemed to be working early on but things have slowed a little now, although that might partly be because I've been out and had a couple of blips that I've tried to compensate for across the week, whereas I was 100% every day for the first 2 months. I have plenty of free dairy each day so feel confident that I'm getting a good intake of calcium without the second HEA.

    Have a good day everyone!

    Thanks Shala
The little sachets serve two people.
Example: Blue Dragon Stir Fry Sauce Chow Mein ( 120g sachet ) 6 Syn.
    Question
Would that be 3 Syn per person?

Of course it is better to make the SW version at 0.5 Syn :)
Or your version without the Sweet Chilli Sauce at ZERO Syn
    SW loss= 15.5kg / 2st 6.2lb

SallyCinnamon - agree with Maman that your day looks Green. I would definitely have some cheese and crispbreads (or a cheese sandwich!) for Supper! That's what I'm planning tonight on my Green day today.

    Another Green day today:

    B - scrambled eggs on toast (HEB1)
L - LO Mediterrean Chicken (from magazine) but with no chicken - ate the few bits in it yesterday so I could have it as a Green lunch!
D - Eat your Greens spaghetti (again from this month's magazine)

HEA1 will be milk in teas throughout the day

Syns will be weekend wine (or maybe G&Ts!).

HEA2/HEB2 will be cheese & Ryvita for supper this evening (got to be better than the chocolate biscuit DH tempted me with last night - but felt good that I only had one and didn't give in to the 3 or 4 he brought in for me! Of course, because I didn't want them he ate them himself and then he wonders why he's not losing weight because "he eats the same as me!" LOL!

Not believing my scales today they show a 5lb gain NO WAY
I did have a nice pub lunch steak and ale pie and chips with 2 halves of lager but that not 5lb worth is it.

I will keep my fingers crossed new battery will give a loss :)

I would have been in tears if my scales had said that :(.
  • Oh Meg, what a nasty shock, hope a new battery does sort them out! I'm glad to hear it's not just me that gets on 3 times! !
