  • Am I allowed to come back - again-again? :/
I only realised two days ago that I hadn't posted on the thread since Christmas. How does this happen?

Here I am, FWIW. Still chasing the stone I wanted to lose before Christmas. In a more positive state of mind though having lost the Christmas weight, and not completely lost the plot at Easter. WI will be Monday Eves for me, I'll be using SW's twitter account as an extra focus.
Going to read up on where everyone is upto, already have the weeks food plan sorted.
Let's see how long I last before life gets so chaotic I can't remember where I am. Again :/

Thanks for the chart Shala, it's a STS this week for me please.

I'm not going to group as I've had a few off plan days, but thankfully the scales are just showing a small gain so not too bad.

The day at Blackpool Tower was one of the longest days ever!! The food available wasn't great, but lots of people had smuggled food in, so will definitely do that next time!

Congrats JPSCloud on SOTW, and well done all other losers

    Well done JPSCloud on SOTW!

Welcome to all newbies and returners - there seems to have been quite a few over the long weekend!

Having a Green day today, probably not the best choice for the day before WI but have had to change my mealplan around as didn't manage to get to shops yesterday!

    B - cereal & milk: HEA1/HEB1
    L - egg mayo & tomato sandwich: HEB + 1 syn
    D - HM mixed bean goulash/rice

Breakfast was supposed to be beans on toast according to the meal plan but decided it wasn't a good idea with having loads of beans for dinner tonight, LOL!

Not sure what other syns I'll have but possibly a Viscount biscuit for 3.5 as I still have one left. Might buy some more of these when I go to B&M next time as they're good value at 89p for 14. This lot has lasted at least 3 weeks (even with DH having the odd one now and again - just glad he's not keen on them as it means they last longer, LOL!)

How were the chocolates Tweets? What happened to the squashed one??:rotfl:
In the end it was as well that I had decided to not bother going back to group as had gotten a text message on Monday to say she had to cancel it. So I'm def convinced I'm not going back now!
I’ve a friend does low Carb and swears by Bullet proof coffee, they are going to be all the rage this year apparently. Not for me I’ll just stick to my plain old Americano thanks! :rotfl:
TakeitEasy, coffee runs straight through me some times and causes me pain and other times it doesn’t bother me at all!
Heading away tomorrow to Loch Lommand, so got to go home tonight and eat up all the salad that will go off in the fridge tonight and get packed etc. Will be off plan thurs, Friday and Saturday and depending what state I am in on Sunday who knows prob! I’m not going to weigh on Monday so that will just be a missed week Shala and then work towards getting back to normal for the following Monday. Need to not go too mad with the food over the weekend but having checked out the menus etc its going to be hard. Chips, chips and more chips.
Daisy my phone just died on me a couple of weeks ago never to work again and I lost a lot of photos and things, so make sure you have everything you need off that phone incase yours does that too! See this is my issue with Coconut spray / oil, I like Coconut but only in sweet things, I don’t like it in Savoury dishes at all so if you can taste it them maybe its not for me.
Good luck with the new class Shala!
Meg I’ll give you some of my BMI !!!!:rotfl: I’m 27 so I suppose I’m perfect but I so am not lol, but whenever it was 24 I was freezing all the time and in bad mood, but was less fat and happier about that – who knows!! Although I had a lollipop head going on! Really, 6 of one and half a dozen of the other I guess! And now I'm trying to get back to that! When really I could sit here and be happy as I am but the grass is always greener isn't it.
I have so much to do today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Morning all :)

Thanks for the chart Shala and well done JPSCloud for SOTW. :j

Welcome to the newcomers and returners.

Beanie - I didn't read the article in the i but that's something I'm always getting on my soapbox about! Someone should tell Weightwatchers that because they insist you get to a BMI between 20 and 24 before they call you a target member.

Thanks for the heads up on the 99p store bargains Meg - I have to admit to thinking you'd forgotten to mention the price in your post. :rotfl: I've been planning to pay them a visit so might do it soon.

There's a Lidl near the 99p store so I might pop in there too - anyone know of any good buys to go for in there?

I thought I'd found a bargain in Morrisons the other day - soup veg for 15p - I bought 2 packs and made it according to the instructions, but it had a rather undesirable affect on us both. :o I don't think I'll bother with that again. I made leek and potato soup yesterday so we're having that for lunch with a wholemeal roll and cheese.

Have a good day everyone - onwards and downwards!

    LL :)

  • Morning everyone. Feeling quite lucky to have got away with an STS again at group this week. I was on plan most of the time but had meals at other people's houses where I couldn't control ingredients or method of cooking.
On Friday we are going to Scotland for a week so no meeting/weigh in for me next week.
Making the most of the gorgeous weather and getting on with some gardening today. Ham salad for lunch and bacon wrapped chicken, sw chips and green beans for tea. Mmmmmmm
