Morning all! Well, I am right in the swing of the holidays already - I'm just up!! In my defence, the alarm on my phone is broken so although it went off it did it silently  really need a new one. trying to hold off as long as I can, it costs a fortune to upgrade early but I think I am running out of options.
Having fruit for breakfast this morning and then planning to have hm soup and the wheat and gluten free bread with it, and some salad. Was planning to make a shepherds pie out of the leftovers from the chickpea stew last night but there's not much left so may have to rethink this. Used the coconut spray oil in the stew and you could definitely taste it and I'm not sure how keen I am on it! However it was £2,50 for the bottle so it'll be getting used.
Have a lovely day everyone xx0 -
I'm just off on holiday so missing official weigh in, but according to my scales I'm 3.5 pounds lighter than last week. 10 days in Egypt starting today, so I'll try to keep my holiday gain to 3 pounds, fingers crossed.0

Hello everyone,
I had a false start with slimming world a month or so ago, but am back and now mean business. All of my clothes feel too tight and I've put on 5lbs in a month
I've bought lots of SW-friendly food this morning, some scales to use at work to weigh my cereal mornings and I read the books and magazine last night. I'm tracking on paper this week as I find that easier than online, although I'm still not sure I'm doing this right. Can someone take a look at what I've eaten today and let me know if this is ok, it sounds like an awful lot...
Breakfast: 40g crunchy bran (HEx
350g skimmed milk (some in cereal, some for tea throughout the day = HEx A)
Banana
Mid morning snack:
Vanilla mullerlight with raspberries and 2 plums
Lunch:
3 scrambled eggs (with a little milk from allowance)
wafer thin roast chicken
2 x pieces hovis wholemeal bread from 400g loaf (5 syns)
1 x tablespoon of ketchup (1 syn)
Mid afternoon snack:
grapes, possibly another mullerlight yoghurt
Dinner:
dried carbonara, cooked with mushrooms, peppers, onions
garlic, chopped ham & 2 heaped tablespoons of quark.
I make that 6 syns in total - is that right????
Any help would be greatly appreciated, my weight is getting me so down and affecting all areas of my life tbh. I need to lose around 3 stone.
Thank you

Your menu looks good. The only thing I can see which isn't quite right is that 2 slices of Hovis WM bread from 400g loaf is 5.5 syns not 5, so your total for today is 6.5 syns.
If you'd like to post your menus each day there is always someone around who will be able to check that you're doing it right.

Thanks so much Denise, I shall amend the syns now and it would be really helpful if I could check in with my menu for the first few days until I get the hang of this.
I can't help but feel like I'm eating way too much though!
Thanks so much for your support xxMortgage @ 03/2019: £125,000, Now: £50,378.61
