    Morning everyone

Just a quick pop in to say well done to all the losers :T

Enjoy the Easter break whatever you are up to. :D

I can totally see where you are coming from lantanna - just try it and see how it goes.

Off to hairdressers now and will pop back in later today to see what you've all been up to.

  • Hi all

I'm new to the thread. Joined slimming world this morning at my local group. Woke up and just knew I had to do something to lose the weight!

Hoping that the plan will suit me and I can get some weight off.

Welcome aboard clairebear :hello: It was Good Friday last year a leaflet for new SW class dropped through my letterbox and something switched in my head and said to me that enough was enough and things had to change. The new class was to start on Easter Monday and was literally a two min walk from my home so no excuses really. A year down the line and I'm over the moon with how things are going. Good luck with it all anyway and post as often as you can and ask questions if you need to - there's is usually someone around who will be able to help. :)

Feeling very pleased with myself, have just sat and ate my chicken salad whilst the rest of the office tucked into their fish suppers!

Feeling strangely motivated and strict now I've decided to go it alone!

Would love to go the gym later but my kidney is still niggling so probably best not too! I will have to content myself with Corrie tonight instead

Well my company goes today. Have had lots of food/drinks the last couple of days (only see them a couple of times a year so we go all out!). Will be going to shops for healthy food tonight, ready to get back on it. Feel bloated and yucky so definitely ready for it!

Had the overnight oats this morning and to be honest, I wasn't that keen, I'd rather have porridge. It was quite sour, so it might be improved with sweetener,

    Well done on the loss:T

Just wondering why you perceive the Overnight Oats to be sour?
    Do you like natural yogurt?

For the fruit I buy from Lidl the frozen (Black Forest Fruits 750g @ £2.20 I think), I don't find them sour

For me the Overnight Oats is not sour, but maybe it's just down to our taste buds and what we like to eat. e.g. I love weak earl grey tea with a squeeze of lemon.

I generally like bitter flavours but in this case I think it was a combination of sour berries and natural yogurt was a bit too much.

I normally love natural yoghurt but when I mixed with porridge to make overnight oats I found the taste awful and couldn't finish it. It's yummy mixed with toffee muller lite and a banana. Very rare that I have overnight oats though it seems to have me feeling hungry again in an hour or 2
