Having a bit of nightmare on the diet this week!
Tuesday wasn't bad, but then I caught a huge cold and have been feeling like poo since then
Yesterday I ate 2 Weetabix with skimmed milk and a tea for breakfast, a banana and an apple for snacks, chicken savory rice with ham and sweetcorn for lunch with a Coke Zero. I had a tea in the afternoon but couldn't stomach eating anything else (I still had some grapes and a yoghurt leftover from lunch).
By the time I got home I felt so rough I took some tablets and went to bed. When I got up a few hours later I ended up eating a bowl of crunchy nut, half a packet of chocolate digestives, 3 slices of toast and jam and half a bottle of OJ!
Today I've ended up eating a chip sandwich for lunch!:o

beanie - I do hope you're OK. Could the headache be to do with the fall rather than dehydration?
Also meant to say Happy Birthday :bdaycake:. (don't eat it all at once, LOL!)

Well done on your losses Greenbeanie and Beanielou (that's confusing) and happy birthday Beanielou!Pretty much what happens to a person on SW remove the fat add the veg and you lose the bulk!
:rotfl:
Hope so!!Re. wateriness. I must have done too many layers of lasagne sheets as mine was too dry. Trust me lol. Tasted lovely although maybe a touch strong with herbs, will definetly make again with extra liquid or fewer layers. x
Aha, I only used half the amount of lasagne sheets because I couldnt fit them in my dish in two layers unless each layer was a double layer IYSWIM? Perhaps that would have soaked up some of the extra juice.Meant to say I used follow Dinah's thread many years ago, so i remember you from that - i was trying to remember the name of the 101 challenge the other day as i never updated mine and i see you have it in your signature :T going to update mine later and transfer the ones i didn't manage to do and start again!
Ah wow - it's been ages since I was a regular poster on these forums, you've got a good memory! I really need to update that part of my sig, can't even remember what was on my list!
OK yesterday's menu in the end was:
B - Coffee w/ sweetener and 50ml milk (1 syn), Mullerlight, passion fruit, mandarin.
L - Jacket potato w/ FF cottage cheese, cucumber, cherry toms and balsamic vinegar.
T - Lasagne from yesterday, green beans w/ smidge of Lurpak (2 syns), Mullerlight.
Drinks for rest of day - herbal teas and Ribena light
HEXA - Cheese on the lasagne
HEXB - 5 Brazil nuts
Total Syns - 3
Today so far:
B - Coffee w/ milk (HEXA) and sweetener, Mullerlight Toffee and chopped apple (Toffee Apple! Just call me Heston).
D - Bacon, boiled egg, mushrooms. Coffee w/ milk (HEXA) and sugar (1 syn). Then another (1 syn).
Then it gets a bit awkward because I'm taking part in a relay race thingy at 7pm, will be setting off about 5.45. I won't be able to eat my tea before running so am planning to have a bowl of All Bran (HEXA and HEXB) and a banana, whatever I have after depends on what time I get in and how I feel.

maman, I find that, unless I portion them up right away, melons do tend to ‘ripen’ in the kitchen!
Fantastic weight loss, Greenbeanie and beanielou.
Happy birthday, beanie. Sorry to hear about your fall. I hope you get your confidence back soon.
Oh 1st, I hope you’re on the mend soon. Mmmmm - a chip butty ……. I’m sure I can smell it!

she is indeed greentiger! She certainly loves her food - to the point that we do worry as if left to it she would just not stop eating. Especially carbs - just like me!
I ended up with a salad from the salad bar at Morrisons for lunch and it was blooming lovely and freshstill excited for my chicken kiev tonight though :P

Afternoon all, I have been busy doing some course work so have only had some syn free stew. Very nice it was too. Can't remember who posted re. canaries. We are off in just over 2 weeks to Lanzarote..3rd time this year. My fav place but definetly need few more lbs off. Re. dry lasagne. I didn't double up layers of pasta as such I just made a deeper lasagne with more "overall" layers if you get what I mean. Has new challenge started officially then?0
