Afternoon all, I have been busy doing some course work so have only had some syn free stew. Very nice it was too. Can't remember who posted re. canaries. We are off in just over 2 weeks to Lanzarote..3rd time this year. My fav place but definetly need few more lbs off. Re. dry lasagne. I didn't double up layers of pasta as such I just made a deeper lasagne with more "overall" layers if you get what I mean. Has new challenge started officially then?
That was me spuddysue! I'm off on a canaries cruise in Nov :jDebt free 2018

Hi everyone! Im new to MSE so bare with me.
I've joined slimming world tuesday by far not my first time...but this times a little different, I'm 7 weeks pregnant.
This is my third baby and have been told by my midwife I need to maintain my weight and can lose a little to lower my risk. Ill tell you a shortened version...ive had two emergency c-sections and very nearly died on my last one due to ruptured scar. Was the worst experience of my life! (And weirdly the best as I have my son)
I'm petrified to be honest of the surgery even though ive already lost a fair bit of weight I need to make sure I keep it off during this pregnancy for a safer operation and speedy recovery. So here I am...reading all your lovely comments to each other and I hope I can fit in with you guysxx

Another busy day.I have loved having the kids home during the hols, and it is unfortunate I have had to work as many days as I had,but I think I am at the stage where I am craving routine again.Hate the state of the house, the chaos, the noise, the grizzling from kids everytime I announce we are going shopping for 4 lots of school uniforms/shoes/haircuts!
Not eaten alot today.
Breakfast: bacon,2 eggs,tinned potato,beans
Snack: apple,mandarine

Hi everyone
Reporting in with my weekly weigh in ~ happy to say 2lb loss this week :j
Onwards and downwards lol :rotfl:0 -
Welcome Lulu 92; Psychopathbabble & firebutterfly. Good luck to you all.
Congratulations on your pregnancy firebutterfly, SW is a good plan to follow whilst pregnant and can really help to keep the weight off. We recently had a lady at our group who was actually half stone less at her last WI before giving birth!
Lulu - you really need to add some syns into your menu as they are needed as part of the plan. It's best to start off using at least 10 syns and up to 15. You won't lose weight quicker by not having them and you'll also get fed up with the plan quite quickly if you never have "treats". Remember this is a plan for life not a quick fix.
Well I'm off on holiday this afternoon but will be on plan until lunchtime :A but that'll be it until I get back in just over 3 weeks, although meals most of the time will be SW friendly it's just all those croissants, pain chocolat, pain raison & the french bread which will be the problem! Along with the red wine:D.
B - scrambled eggs on toast; last of the bacon
L - HM carrot & lentil soup
D - my usual travel meal (HM cornish pasty 26.5 syns:eek:)
I'll pop on and read on and off today and while I'm away when I can get wifi but won't be posting until after my holiday.
