Welcome to all the new people. It can be tough at times but stick with it....it's worth it in the end! There's plenty of lovely people on here to help you through it when you are stuck😀
I'm surprised (and ecstatic) to report a 3lb loss. on,y 1/2lb to get back into target range:j0 -
A 1lb loss for me this week, I am now in the next stone bracket, which is lovely. DH and I are going away this weekend, staying in a hotel in Bristol, I will try and make some good food choices, but there will be alcohol involved. It will be straight back to plan with lots of speed food when we get back.Quidco cashback paid out so far £745.89 :j0

The new challenge will run from week commencing the 31st August and finish on the 31st October - this gives us 9 weeks.
And just for Maman the name of the Challenge (and the thread when I set it up in a few days) is Get Lean for Halloween!Great title!
If you wish to join in with us then please post your target loss for the 9 weeks in red* or bold or massive or all of the above so that I can see
Please put me down for 14 lb thanks. Sue xxQuidco cashback paid out so far £745.89 :j0 -
Welcome
Lulu 92; Psychopathbabble & firebutterfly:T
Well done on taking the plunge and joining us. You'll get lots of support here.
Masie - Hope the roof stayed on! lol
Lush - I could have joined you in isolation last night. I left work with a stinking migraine and went for the chocolate. 4 big squares of my Lidl 70 % dark and a 2 finger mint chocolate kit kat:rotfl:
Anyway its done now, could have been much worse!
Curry chips are the absolute bomb Tweets that's my usual treat when its treat time! Although I've not fancied them the same way post op. I've had them once in 9 weeks :rotfl:Think I deserve some sort of prize for that alone!
So a STS for me this week. But anyway that's what it is and I'm doing it and trying so not getting annoyed. I took underwear pictures of myself on the 18th and yesterday I took them again and I can see a big difference in my stomach and I've gone down a % fat so I'm focusing on that. I keep looking at the pics to spur me onand to remind myself I am doing something:D The mother also announced the other day that she thought I looked fine not overweight at all. Which was a shock in itself!!!!! No negativity regarding my weight from the mother!!
Anyway its Friday woo hoo! Decided I'm definitely not going out tomorrow. I want to stay in the zone and I'll not enjoy going for a Chinese and cocktails right now so I'm not doing it. Hate having to have things when I'm not in the mood for them or needing them. So I'm suiting myself for once.
When I said I wasn't up for that anymore my friend then suggested we go to 2 greasy food places for breakfast or lunch. I declined that as well and said I'd meet for just a coffee over the weekend. I'm all for socialising and treats etc but just coz others make unhealthy choices all the time doesn't mean I have too. I'd like to do things that don't involve food but this particular friend is 30 stone................that's another story.:(
So anyway today I am allowed a diet fizzy drink of my choice. I get my quota of one tin for the week on a Friday . :j
I'm also allowed bread one day at the weekend for the week so I think I'll have some toasted sandwiches either tomorrow or Sunday.:j Then that's it the bread is away for another week.
Think I'll make a lasagne as well this weekend. Tonight I have steak and cauliflower rice to use up so will either do a curry or a stirfry with those.
More decluttering lies ahead this weekend BEG! and the usual weekend Gin will come out and a tv catchup. Will def go to the gym once if not twice too.
All good here :j0 -
Morning
Reporting in with a STS for the end of the challenge please Shala. Bit rubbish really, but it could have been a lot worse - I haven't resorted to any pasties or fish and chips all season and I've stuck to having wine at the weekends which must have helped!
Denise - have a lovely holiday and just relax and enjoy your treats, it wouldn't be a holiday otherwise.
Welcome and good luck Lulu 92; and firebutterfly and congratulations - it's exciting to have a thread baby!I lost weight during my first pregnancy but it wasn't down to SW, it was because I had hyperemesis, like Kate Middleton, but it lasted right up until I gave birth. _pale_ I left the maternity hospital in skinny jeans and made the other mums jealous. :rotfl:
Tweets - you're still disappearing! It's good that you don't attend a group, at least you're not having to continually reset your target and pay in the interim. :T
Happy belated Birthday Beanie - hope you've recovered from your fall.
Have a good day everyone, and a good Bank Holiday weekend for those who are having one.

Breakfast networking meeting out of the way and I had:
Glass of water, pot of tea (milk from HeA). fresh(! surprises me for a pub restaurant attached to a hotel) scrambled egg, grilled tomatoes, grilled mushrooms, baked beans, my 1 hash brown (4syn) and a rasher of bacon with zero fat left on and lashings of black pepper - delicious!
For lunch I decided against the salad and brought with me: grapes, banana, apple and a Satsuma. along with those I'll go for a walk up to town as I need to go to the post office and buy a cheese grater (to make cheese and veg muffins for wonder bairn) also need to get whole meal rolls for tonights wonderful tea!
Should be able to finish around 4 at work so am determined to avoid sbnacking so that I properly enjoy my tea. I may even have a mini milk after it! hehe

Got my fizz! Fizzy Friday I'm now going to think of Fridays!
Sugar Free Pink Cranberry lemonade in M&S - Yum. The meal deal was on and I succumbed. Got a Rotisserie Chicken, Roasted Veg, a pack of Strawberries and a bottle of red.
Wouldn't normally have bothered as they don't normally have the fruit there for the desert and theres no way I was getting a Profiterole Stack :rotfl:
Anyway the wine will go in the Cupboard and can be drank at Christmas when I am at target when I put my tree up and wrap all my pressies. Another incentive!! :rotfl:
I saw The Holiday was on the tv the other night, love that film always like to watch it at Christmas.0
