Would you let us have the recipe? I love corned beef hash but as ham is syn free I'd like to try it.:)

Sorry for delay in replying maman but I had early start this morning and didn't have recipe with me when I got to Mum's. I think it must have been in a mag as I didn't see it online.

Here we go - Austrian Ham and Potato Hash - syn free on ee - serves 4 (or 2 greedy so and so's :p)

    Frylight
    1 onion, roughly chopped
    2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
    4 celery stalks, roughly chopped
2 x 300g cans peeled new potatoes in water, drained and roughly chopped
340g can lean ham, roughly chopped
    1 tsp caraway seeds
    1 tsp sweet smoked paprika
    2 carrots, coarsely grated
175mls chicken or veg stock (we used 150mls)
handfuly fresh flat leaf parsley finely chopped

Spray large frying pan with frylight and place over a medium heat. Add onion, garlic, celery and pots and stir-fry for 6-8 mins or until lightly browned.

Stir in the ham, caraway seeds, paprika, carrots and stock and cook for 6-8 mins or until the veg are tender and most of the stock has been absorbed.

Scatter over the parsley, stir well and serve immediately.

Top each portion with a poached or fried egg.

Online I think there is a ham, cheese and potato hash which I will try next time. It's getting to that time of the year when we need this sort of comfort food and salads don't quite hit the spot. :D

Dashing off again now so will settle down later tonight and have a good old catch up with you all.

Think there has been some discussion on here about it before, but I am only trying the Twinings Salted Caramel Green Tea today. I'm a big green tea fan anyway but this is absolutely lovely!

I know its one of those love or hate it things. I say yes!

Its on offer 2 for £4.00 in Tesco at the minute.

I'm getting an early dart today as I have to go deliver a letter to an employee (never good getting one of them is it) :rotfl: So I will be home early to do my exercise of choice. Might just hit the exercise dvds and benefit from a night in the house :D

Running really late this morning - only just had my breakfast; just couldn't be bothered to get up. This week is really dragging, partly because I can't get out without the car (I live on top of a cliff and it's an unmade road so difficult to walk on!) and partly because it's nearly time to go off on holiday! Can't wait.

Sticking to plan until Friday afternoon when we set off.

Today is a Green day as not much fruit and veg left!

    B - Bacon sandwich (HEB x 2 + 3.5 syns for butter & brown sauce)
L - HM carrot & lentil soup (from freezer)
    D - HM beef goulash/rice (recipe from https://www.agirlcalledjack.com)

HEA will be milk in tea throughout the day. May have a milky coffee this evening if I fancy it - haven't had one for ages; generally drink black coffee so would make a nice change.

Welcome back Lush - you'll soon get back into the SW way of eating again and lose those extra pounds.

    Denise

Just checking, do you have extra HEBs ie at target? I see bacon, bread & beef so was just wondering if it's a mistake or deliberate :D

Nipped into school again to empty a filing cabinet with mostly my stuff in. Amazed at the amount of stuff accumulated, most went in the recycling. The drawers are now empty and I filed everything in folders so all neat and tidy. Now have to find space in new class as based in Y1 more than Reception. Now to clear my mind and NOT think about school til next Tuesday :o (wish me luck :p).
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

I am supposed to have an extra HEB being at target but I prefer to use extra syns instead! However it was am "oops" moment - it's actually supposed to be "mixed bean" not "beef" :embarasse.

I love the salted caramel one and bought the cherry bakewell flavour to try at the weekend. Think I may have a cup tonight as I only managed to have one cup of the salted today.
