I'm glad you like my suggestion for the new challenge. Do you think we should make it 'Get Lean for Halloween - with Slimming World' so that anyone seeing it on the forum will know it's SW?
Oh i will when i set up the new thread mamancan't have everyone getting lost!
You were celebrating SOTW Greenbeanieyou deserved banoffee pie! Just draw a line and get back to it today..
I've drawn a line over yesterday - too much chocolate and none of it counted  darn people and their holiday sweets! I'm hoping i had a lot less than i thought..
Today, back on track EE
B - apple, yogurt, caramel syrup
L - LM Rosemary sausages, onion, wholemeal thins (heb) sauce (1)
T - pork, sweet potato hash, roast veg, salad, corn
S - beetroot, milk (hea) banana, nectarine
I have cardio at the gym tonight45 minutes of boredom on the treadmill.. what makes it worse is that i have to watch that Two Tribes on the tv, what a weird concept for a quiz show that is! :rotfl:
Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -
morning all
Thanks for the chart shala as always. Can you just check my total as I make it 5lbs lost this time - getting closer to actually achieving my goal each time - one day I may actually do it;). Talking of which can you pop me down for 9lbs for the Hallowe'en challenge which would take me to 1 stone lost over all. Talk about a meandering road!!!
Congrats on SOTW greenbeanie well done you. Hope you enjoyed the Banoffie pie.
Ohh a cruise sounds a lovely goal gateby.
greentiger well done on the football win.
maman yep it's strange how your body plays tricks on you like that. I could have sworn I would have put weight on yesterday as I was bloated and felt fat even my trousers felt tight - but I hadn't - very bizarre. I think the recent hot weather hasn't helped as people quite often retain water when it's hot.
Today is a new day saverupper. Put yesterday behind you and start afresh. It's a small blip.
Menu plan for today:
breakfast: toast and Jam, DG coffee
Lunch: chicken, tomatoes and cucumber, nectarine and yoghurt
dinner: not decided but either campfire stew or a curry (need to plan a bit more!!)

Saver upper - You’ve just made me think of casserole! Strangely I bought a tin of chick peas last night in Lidl.
I have seen people roasting them and eating them as a snack and adding them to salads etc. Seems a good low fat way of eat protein. Think that’s where mine will be going into salads. Can't really see me sitting eating roasted chickpeas. Lol I used my lean mean grilling machine again last night even did the Brussel Sprouts on it!
I think I’ll have a look and see what I could make this week. Feel like making something nice and speedy!
Thanks Masie I know, just a bit frustrating but focusing on the positives. Everything is much brighter now! Well done on your loss! Just know I will be so disappointed if not back at target for Christmas so have to make sure I am. :j
Went to the gym last night but my legs were absolutely aching from the Kettlebells on Monday night so only did 25 mins and went home to have my dinner.:D Told myself I was just listening to my body! 25 mins is better than no minutes though!
My goodness our chart looks teeny tiny! We must have lost some people again! Thanks as always Shala. Do you not listen to music in the gym Shala? I find it really really helps me and puts the time in!
Love that wee Pumpkin Maman! Can’t wait to get lean for Halloween!
I'm going to be bold and seeing as there is 9 weeks of the challenge I am going for a 9 lb loss!

Thanks for the chart Shala, well the Birthday fest did catch up
2lbs on for me, not unhappy about that as got a lot of syns for the pound and am still within target:rotfl:
Couldn't decide if my family were trying to kill me off or if they really want to keep me, preserved in alcohol.
Blimey we have certainly had some losses, especially off the chart, hopefully some will come back.

I'm creeping back in yet again! My world has slowed down a little now; we've moved in to the new place and got settled and had a few more events along the way (my birthday, wonder bairn's christening and many many others not all positive) but I seem to have caught up with myself at last.
I have gained in my absence - more than enough to notice as now my clothes don't fit againlots of motivation sitting in my wardrobe now its just find the time.
For those that don't know we have a Facebook group - let me know if you want to be added; its a great way to access some support quickly or when you can't get on the forums. I have a syn request on there at the minute as I've not got my access to the online stuff anymore if anyone can help
I rejoined group but stopped going just a few weeks later, it really wasn't working for me mentally and to be honest I think that's added to my mad few weeks of binging/indulgence and...well it just hasn't worked so now I'm ready to brush myself off and start again.
Easing myself in:
Breakfast: Special K multi-grain red berries porridge (5 syns I think?)
snack: banana
lunch: 1/2 pack beef savoury rice (old pack, free), Satsuma, apple
snack: grapes, 1 natures first chocolate coated (one side) rice cake (83 kcal so 4 syns I think?)
tea (at evening training session): ham sandwich (one HeB 2 slices of wholemeal from small loaf), Satsuma, apple
drinks: tea, NAS squash
HeA: 250ml semi skimmed milk
ETA: thanks Meg and anyone else that's been keeping up with the Facebook group
Can I please join the next challenge? I'll aim for 7lb ... fingers crossed!************************************

Hi Lush good to see you back.Slimming World at target0 -
Running really late this morning - only just had my breakfast; just couldn't be bothered to get up. This week is really dragging, partly because I can't get out without the car (I live on top of a cliff and it's an unmade road so difficult to walk on!) and partly because it's nearly time to go off on holiday! Can't wait.
Sticking to plan until Friday afternoon when we set off.
Today is a Green day as not much fruit and veg left!
B - Bacon sandwich (HEB x 2 + 3.5 syns for butter & brown sauce)
L - HM carrot & lentil soup (from freezer)
D - HM beef goulash/rice (recipe from https://www.agirlcalledjack.com)
HEA will be milk in tea throughout the day. May have a milky coffee this evening if I fancy it - haven't had one for ages; generally drink black coffee so would make a nice change.
Welcome back Lush - you'll soon get back into the SW way of eating again and lose those extra pounds.

¡Hola! Hope everyone's well this morning. There seem to have been a few mentions of 'blips', and I'm sure some of you will have heard this analogy before, but it really made sense to me. If your car got a flat tyre, would you say, "Oh sod it!" and let the other three tyres down too? No. So just because you've had one bad day, don't let the tyres down on the whole week
Wednesday is my weigh-in day and I have lost 2.5lbsNot a bad start! (This is weight lost since last Weds even though I've only been SW for two days. I don't want this to be included in the current challenge, but just wanted to make next week's weigh-in a fair, seven-day, representation IYSWIM.)
I'd love to join in the Halloween challenge and I'm going to go for a Spooky Stone - that would be just under 2lbs a week - aim high and all that! :undecided
Plan for the day is (loosely):
B - Coffee, Mullerlight, passion fruit, mandarin
L - Jacket potato w/ FF cottage cheese and salad (perhaps some 'kale chips' - anyone tried those? Is it still speed when roasted?)
T - A portion of last night's lasagne with some green beans
Shala - glad it's not just me with the wateriness! I guess when you remove the binding properties of the fatty elements and add in more veg it's bound to happen.
Have a fab day all
