Hi saver -upper. My DD is always saying shes hungry on SW and eats accordingly as she knows she can but I am same as you. Not very often do I feel hungry so I have to make myself put a meal together rather than go too long without food, especially working 12 hr shifts. Its getting a balance isn't it?0

Do we have to put our goals down now for next challenge?0

That's not a bad gain for a holiday saverupper and I'm sure you're still in target range. I'm still carrying a pound and I've been back since 9th July! :oHopefully you'll be able to shop soon for the casserole bits:).Lean mean veggie eating machine by then!!

Someone brought these to our tasting session last week. Consultant said to be aware that eating too many of them would be 'abuse of syns'. OK if you just ate a few like you would eat some crisps with your packed lunch or a small evening snack but would get out of hand if you kept stuffing your face with them.

There's a chickpea patties recipe on the SW website to, basically chickpeas and mash with herbs and spices.

It looks like a bit of a faff to me but you might like it.Do we have to put our goals down now for next challenge?
Lovely Shala will post this week's acheivements later tonight then let us know when she wants the next lot of pledges. All you need to do is post what you hope to lose between now and Halloween.0 -
Well done on your fab loss spuddysue :T and on receiving SOTW. Your consultant should have your Certificate and a nice shiny sticker for you next week.
Love your suggestion for our new Challenge/Thread maman :T
Well we made the Austrian Ham and Potato Hash for tea (4 servings) and we (2 people) were so hungry we ate all 4 servings. Had hoped to freeze a couple of portions but never mind. I felt that we were better off feeling satisfied rather than being half-satisfied as that would result in a night of mouching around to see what I could find :rotfl:

Would you let us have the recipe? I love corned beef hash but as ham is syn free I'd like to try it.:)0 -
Well done Sue on your SOTW award! I guess that's something you miss out on by not going to the meetings. Right, here's my food from today, how does it look for speed?
B - Coffee with sugar (1 syn), mullerlight and two passion fruits.
L - 2x bacon, fat removed (first time I've ever done that!), one scrambled egg (2 syns for Flora), grilled cherry toms and mushrooms.
T - SW lasagne made with turkey mince. Speed items: canned toms, carrot, courgette, onion, mushrooms, kale and garlic. Served with cucumber sticks.
HEXA - milk for coffee/tea and scrambled egg.
HEXB - ONE slice of wm bread to mop up the very watery lasagne
Other syns - 2.5 for the Jaffa Cake I had after my run, and 6 for the cheese in the lasagne. Total = 11.5.Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Tete - a reasonable amount of Speed foods in there today. How did you make your white sauce for the lasagne, as it may have contained syns, unless you used the SW recipe using quark?
Denise0 -
Only a reasonable amount? Oh man! I thought I'd done really well.
Yeah it was a SW recipe made with eggs and fat free yog. Specifically said free if using cheese as HEXA, 6 syns otherwise.Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0
