Having taken a bit of inspiration from Chiquitos menu coz they emailed with a voucher thing. I've now decided what I'm having for dinner lol

Grilled chicken breast with a bbq sauce marinade & a slice of low low cheese

Chorizo & Sweetcorn medley (done on the George) with red onion & tomato mixed through.

    Chargrilled Pepper, Courgette and Mushroom

Salad: Little Gem Lettuce filled with spinach, cottage cheese, pickles, cucumber and Jalepenos

Looking forward to this! Syns for Chorizo & BBQ Sauce. Cheese = HE :D

Hopefully it will make pounding away on the treadmill tonight a little easier knowing when I get it done I can have this.

¡Shala - glad it's not just me with the wateriness! I guess when you remove the binding properties of the fatty elements and add in more veg it's bound to happen.

Have a fab day all :)

Pretty much what happens to a person on SW remove the fat add the veg and you lose the bulk!

That sounds gorgeous Lantanna. Much better than the mixed bean goulash I'm planning for dinner!

Tete - whenever I make a SW recipe I always halve the amount of liquid suggested to start with - you can always add a bit more stock later if needed.

It sounds like an awful lot but mostly veg. Any left overs will keep for tomorrow :D. I'm sure your goulash will be lovely too!
  • Hello everyone. Hi Shala, I am thinking a lovely 10lbs off for this challenge. I am feeling more positive after this weeks stupendous effort. Have I mentioned I lost 3.5lbs :))
  • Re. wateriness. I must have done too many layers of lasagne sheets as mine was too dry. Trust me lol. Tasted lovely although maybe a touch strong with herbs, will definetly make again with extra liquid or fewer layers. x

Tete - the kale chips are quite bitter, if you like kale normally then you'd be ok, the flavour intensifies.. they should still be speed though :j

Meant to say I used follow Dinah's thread many years ago, so i remember you from that - i was trying to remember the name of the 101 challenge the other day as i never updated mine and i see you have it in your signature :T going to update mine later and transfer the ones i didn't manage to do and start again!

I think the recent hot weather hasn't helped as people quite often retain water when it's hot.

    I must have missed that!!:rotfl:

Feeling slimmer again today thank goodness:).

Good to see you back lush, just ask if you want syn values I'm happy to oblige. I'm sure you need to get back into all your clothes as any spare cash will be going on the new home.

Your dinner sounds absolutely yummy lantanna.

I used to go to the gym in the mornings and watch Jeremy Kyle!! Much happier at weekends when Sky Sports was on;).

I'm out for tea later and I'm sure will be expected to eat cake. Hopefully buffet will have some veg sticks I can nibble on so as not to look rude.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS Grapefruit, baked beans, HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks
L: LO savoury rice (HM with loads of veg)
D: SW spaghetti Bolognese with Parmesan (part of HEA?)
Syns: scrape of spread and as little as I can get away with teatime
