I had a pretty rubbish day yesterday, diet wise but am back on plan today. If I had a glass of wine at 1am can I count it as today's? :D

L: poached eggs, tomatoes and veggie sausage (1.5 syns)
D: chicken curry with lots of vegetables.
snacks melon, kiwi fruit, cups of tea (HEA)

We are a bit short of food but have a Mr S delivery at 9pm today.
business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Shala, Baby and Mum both doing well. Went up to see them on Saturday and she is settling well.

I too am on low syns this week. :(

I could hang my head in shame over the weekends eating. But anyway, will just keep going. I'm focusing getting to target for December or I will be an unhappy bunny!
  • Thanks for the advice guys :D

Tete, that doesn't sound like good news to me! I have around 10 weeks to lose some weight, so I was going to sign up for the Silver online membership (£5 more, but you get 7 copies of the SW magazine). I used to just track my calories with MyFitnessPal, but I do prefer pen and paper.
I don't find the online diary that helpful either.. I'm a paper/pen kinda person!

I love a good notebook I had a doodle diary from the Works but it doesn't have enough room to write everything in, so I just use a normal notepad split into sections..

I think Beanie or Meg bought a SW note pad from Ebay that people have made.. might be worth a look..

My notebook is only has 10 pages or so left so I might have to have a look too research purposes only obviously..

Check out the Wilko website, they sell a food diary/meal planner notepad in there...not sure if they sell them in-store though

    Hi Everyone :)

I'm sure this question must have been asked a million and one times, but is anyone a SW member online? Is it worth the money (£60 for 3 months)?

I used to go to the groups and I have the latest books, but there isn't really a group near me that I can get to. My weight has got out of control recently and I need to get back into the diet. My parent's have a 30th wedding anniversary party coming up in Nov and I'd like to have lost some weight by then.

    TIA

I joined online and thought it was a waste of money. I did get intouch with them and truthfully told them I didn't have a printer and they sent me the the healthy eating by post. I got all about syns ,healthy extra's and how to go about the healthy eating. They also sent me 4 food diary chart things to record my eating for 4 weeks. HTH

I lost weight by doing the SW all by myself found it easy to do.

Off here for a few hours and it takes some catching up on. I am not much use to anyone just yet who has questions as I am new to the plan but I do like to lurk and gain more knowledge from others questions/answers. I have made a big batch of Bolognese, even though I'm struggling with veggies I put carrots in there, half bag of frozen mixed peppers and 2 tins chopped toms plus the usual onion garlic etc. Hoping that helps with some Speed issues. WI tonight but I am going straight to a night shift from there so will update tomorrow. Hope everyone is having better weather than here in sunny Wales.Happy weighing.x

The Bolognese sounds perfectly balanced Speed and Protein so with just a portion of pasta or a jacket that's an ideal SW meal.:) If the veggies bother you just attack it with a potato masher and you'll not even notice them.

Rain has stopped here at last. being nosey, where in Wales are you?:)

Managed to get all three kinds of burgers in my Sainsbugs and had the lamb ones on Saturday night, They were delicious. Definitely buying them again for 2.5 syns they were worth it for me as I struggle to get the lean lamb:(

Will definitely be adding the lamb ones to my trolley on Friday. I know there are the BGTY Quarterpounders, which other ones did you buy Maisie?

Off to read a few more posts.
