Tonight have had amazing tea fancied a take away slimming world style. Out of the Fakeaways cookery book I decided to make the donner kebab. Its not a quick recipe I made it last night and let it rest in the fridge over night I did feel like I was being naughty however it is syn free. I defo feel it worth the effort still have some left too mid night feast maybeSlimming world Journey 2 stone 9.5lb loss:T0 -
Hi all
Just a quickie to say I did the Hairy Bikers braised steak for dinner, and it was really good! I wasn't sure it would be because the meat packaging recommended cooking for twice as long as the recipe, but it was perfectly tender. We had it with mash, cabbage and carrots.
Really tired tonight, I think the long days are starting to catch up with me - 10 more to go, our last one is the Bank holiday and I can't wait.
See you tomorrow.

Woo Hoo Shala on your loss, 1.5st award and Club 10 :j:T:j
Well done to all our other amazing losers too :T
The chicken burgers don't appeal to me Maisie but I think I will definitely be giving the TTD lamb and mint ones a go.
Sorry struggling to post tonight as I am in bed and on my phone but the real problem is that I am just so so tired.
Night night - will catch up with you all tomorrow.

Hi all
Just a quickie to say I did the Hairy Bikers braised steak for dinner, and it was really good!
LL
Another HB convert!:T It really is an amazing dish for just one syn between four portions. I just can't believe you get all that delicious gravy. I've used all sorts of beef from sirloin to shin and it's always turned out well. There have to be variations we can think up.
I take Co-codamol when my back's playing up, most recently when I was on holiday:mad:. I really can't put my holiday gain down to that though. As others have posted, so many variables like exercise or just not feeling on top form although there definitely are medications that hinder weightloss.
I have to congratulate you on making an effort with cooking SW recipes sue. I'm sure that cooking from scratch is one of the secrets to success as many processed foods have hidden syns but it's also very healthy. One of the (many;)) bonuses of the thread is that we can recommend any low syn, easy healthy recipes or buys to each other.
I'm not a yogurt fan at all denise, just bought the Total 0% for SW visitors. Normally I buy DH Aldi's FF (55p?) for pouring on his muesli and then I can use it if I need it in any recipes.
Lunch with my friend could have been very SW friendly. She did prosciutto and serrano hams with olives, BBQ chicken with leaves, new potatoes and tomatoes. If I'd been getting to target I'd have stopped there instead of having garlic bread and coleslaw and pudding and wine syns..... Back on plan tomorrow.:)0 -
Denise, I cannot get the hang of W8.1. only 24 hours right enough, but I’m used to getting going right away! W10 downloading just now – taking forever – but then I’m doing tons of other stuff (importing files and doing this) at the same time. Struggling to fathom where my files go!
My fishcakes are 2 syns each and I have 2 (greedy guts); it’s a Mary Berry recipe and I just worked out the total – I think it’s really the mayo and breadcrumbs that score the syns.
Maisie, I aim for 1lb a week loss every time but …….
Well done, dubbya.
Didn’t have cous cous at lunchtime as didn’t have abything to put with it. I had a roast beef sandwich (6 syns for bread) with piccalilli ( ½ syn) I stayed away from the coffee buns – but I had a petticoat tail (6 syns) instead. Haven’t had my hexa yet, so that’ll be my supper in some form – cheese it was.
On the cocodamol issue, I used to take that (and a lot of other stuff, which I still have to take) often and I was having difficulty losing weight. I spoke with my GP and he reviewed everything I was taking and advised me that there were no indications that any of them, including cocodamol, would prevent weight loss.
Saturday
Breakfast: BLT (8 syns for mayo and M&S granary bread – DH was asked to buy wholemeal, grrrr), fruit
Lunch: hexa cheese omelette, salad, Shape 0% fat yogurt
Dinner: spag bol, melon
Snacks: 25g wine gums (4 syns) at football, some sort of hexb (not used to that, lol)
Oh well have a good day everyone (fingers crossed for a better performance from the Bairns today).Sewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400 -

Ohhh I love that doner kebab.. Well jealous:p I find it hard to get the lean lamb here so I don't do it often.
There's a new list of SW meals all over Instagram that are coming out the 7th October, they are doing sauces and soups too.. I'll list them incase anyone's interested..
Sauces - spicy tikka masala, chunky tomato
Soups - spicy lentil, pea and mint, tomato and basil, carrot and coriander
Meals - cottage pie, beef saag, chicken saag, bolognese ragu, three bean and roast veg chilli, beef and three bean chilli, chicken and roasted med veg pasta
Think I'll probably try the tikka sauce as I quite like the chicken tikka they do but we always put extras in it so no point in buying the actual ready meal.. I imagine they'll be expensive though..
I'll be stealing some of the recipes and making them myself too
Got up this morning and did some weight exercises, now my arms are all shaky :rotfl: so finding it hard to type. I imagine it won't help with weight loss this week but I'll be diminishing the bingo wings  and building some muscle.
The gravel arrived yesterday for the back garden so we'll be shifting a tonne of it and digging all day so more body magic! :t
Tweets, is it the Staffordshire V festival your GS has gone too? If so, then the weather is fine at the minute.. I think it's later that the heavens are opening. they'll love it, it'll add to the atmosphereMortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0
