Bit random but thought someone may have an insight possibly. I take the strong co-cods for back pain and genuinely feel they slow down any (all) attempts with weight loss. I struggle with how to describe why but I really do. I know when my back is really bad the weight seems to creep on commensurate with amounts of pain relief I take. anyone else get this?0

spuddysue - is it possible that you are eating the "wrong" things or more than usual? Alternatively, it may be that you just aren't eating enough. I know when I don't feel well I can be one way or the other, not sure it's got anything to do with the amount pain relief taken.

I put on a full stone from April to June when I was taking them. But I was not exercising and wasn't eating badly but wasn't focused on SW either. No idea if they effected my weight though overall.0 -
Even more losses this morning. That's brilliant!!:T
Brittany's great denise but sadly the weather's very similar to Cornwall so can see why you need to play it by ear. I had a holiday there two years ago in May where we went from coats and gloves to hiding in the shade in a couple of days. I do enjoy the galettes though, probably leek, ham and cheese is my favourite.
I bought Total 0% last week when visitors came and with a bit of sweetener on the fruit that was very cream like. A bit expensive for weekly use though but I will buy it again. Finished it off with blackberries a couple of days ago.
Major change here, I didn't have NAS Ribena with breakfast!:eek:Am now trying pink grapefruit squash for a change. Enjoyed it this morning as it's a bit sharper. Have had SW breakfast (HEB Puffed Wheat) and then probably off plan until tomorrow.
Just been reading on another forum I use that someone's in Brittany at the moment and the weather is really good - hope it lasts until we get there!
My mock cream wasn't too bad with a bit of sweetner added and it used up the fromage frais I was going to have to bin. I tried Total 0% a while ago and really didn't like the texture of it so haven't bothered again; and, as you say, it's really expensive. I use a FF Green style yoghurt which is £1.10 for 500mls which DH has most of! Very rarely buy Mullerlights these days either, although may start buying again in the winter when I'm having porridge regularly.
Pink grapefruit squash sounds nice but does it have any grapefruit in it, as I can't have it.

I was on these for a while and did put on weight but I don't think they caused it. I put it down to not being as active as normal due to being in pain.Slimming World at target0 -
Good Morning
shala my DS is going to the V festival he text last night and said weather forecast was for rain and hail
Can you please update me on what the weather is like please ?
Fingers crossed its not that bad for him and you.
Tweets my Grandson is also at V the forecast is dire, but lovely don't worry after years of my kids and now grandkids doing Glastonbury V and just about any other thats going I honestly don't think it spoils their enjoyment and at worst they might come home with a cold. I have a treasured photo of my Son at Glastonbury, sitting in a field of mud with a big happy smile. He just loved going to Glastonbury, his ashes were scattered there. Just stock up on washing powder and be ready with a big hug when he gets home and tells you how wonderful it was.Slimming World at target0 -

I might actually ask at Customers Services to see if they could find out whether or not they stock them. The hm ones we had on Monday were very nice (cheese triangle in the middle) but the frozen ones would be convenient and a good standby.

I am really interested in these so I googled them too to look for at the weekend and also found that they do Sainsburys chicken quarter pounders ( 2 syns ) and TTD lamb and mint ones (2.5 syns) in the freezer section. Think I will have stock up at the weekend if I can find them!!0 -
Have just checked the number of weeks until Christmas. I need to be back at target by the start of December! Given me a little kick up the bottom anyway.:( I'll be miserable at Christmas if I'm not back to target as if its anything like last Christmas I'll be bouncing into the New Year like a balloon!
Time to get this off! How can it be not too hard to lose nearly 7 stone but try to lose 18 again and it seems impossible
Gym time
1lb a week and you will get there. This is what I am aiming for too 1lb a week slowly plodding lol
edit: I should really read through the whole tthread before posting as I see you want to get there for 1st Dec. Still doable - we will be rooting for you.
Love the pink top BTW (now you know where I got to lol before realising I should read on before posting lol)
Further down the thread now nom nom nom on the Oyster Bay - one of my absolute favs0 -
Well the sausages were ok . Bit of tweaking maybe needed but not too shabby for first batch. I didn't follow recipe strictly, I dry fried onions rather than just add spring onions. Also southern fried "roasts" were delish. Quite pleased with myself, especially as I had carrots with minimal gravy! Big girl now see....figuratively speaking
thanks for posts on pain relief. I don't eat more/exercise less but after a long time on them they definetly impact negatively. Would love not to need them but maybe with a few lbs off things might improve at least a bit.
