Lantanna - don't worry about the STS, as you say yourself it is better than a gain. I suspect you've lost inches which going to the gym and toning up.

Beanie - hugs to you. You'll soon lose it again. Just keep plodding!

Well done to all the losers.

    Another EE day for me:

B - SW fry up - bacon, eggs, mushrooms & beans
L - LO beef keema, bombay vegetables & rice. Will definitely make this again but add even less stock (I'd already cut it from 300ml to 250ml!) as it was still too sloppy even though I boiled it fairly hard for a while rather than simmering. Will also add a bit more spice next time as it didn't really have enough flavour.
D - SW burger & onions in WM bun x 2 (HEB + 6 if I have a 2nd bun!). Strawberries & SW "mock" cream (equal quantities of plain yoghurt & fromage frais). Dont usually have a pud but the fromage frais needs using up:rotfl:

Not much speed tonight but plenty in my lunch.

HEA - milk in tea throughout the day
    Syns - weekend wine:D & maybe 6 for 2nd burger bun

Off for the weekend again so won't be posting again (probably until Sunday).

Thanks for all the congrats, I was a bit too excited last night :rotfl: it's took me 10 months to get this far, I take a very, very scenic route! Unfortunately i'm no where near target yet Denise, I've just been big for a long time, i'm 13 s 1.5 at the minute, so still have a couple of stone to lose, i'm thinking about 11ish would be ok but at my rate of loss that would take another 2 years.. :rotfl:

I booked the day off today as I work near-ish to the V festival, didn't fancy getting caught in the traffic :D so i'm at home waiting for a delivery of PB2 (powdered peanut butter 1 syn per tbsp.)some sugar free caramel syrup (syn free?) and a tonne of gravel (definitely syn free)... ;) we'll have some body magic later shifting the gravel round to the back garden :T it'll finally finish off the garden after we had it done last year :j:j

I fancy a big brunch now lantanna, but I can't find your post about what you usually have so I just have to make it up! :rotfl: i'm so easily influenced by others...

You've more chance of keeping it off on the scenic route and your still having a life as well! :T

Hope the gravel is tasty! :rotfl:

Cheers Denise! That's what I'm thinking, I have to just go with how I am feeling and I am feeling great. The sickness is long behind me now.

Even more losses this morning. That's brilliant!!:T

Brittany's great denise but sadly the weather's very similar to Cornwall so can see why you need to play it by ear. I had a holiday there two years ago in May where we went from coats and gloves to hiding in the shade in a couple of days. I do enjoy the galettes though, probably leek, ham and cheese is my favourite.

I bought Total 0% last week when visitors came and with a bit of sweetener on the fruit that was very cream like. A bit expensive for weekly use though but I will buy it again. Finished it off with blackberries a couple of days ago.

Major change here, I didn't have NAS Ribena with breakfast!:eek:Am now trying pink grapefruit squash for a change. Enjoyed it this morning as it's a bit sharper. Have had SW breakfast (HEB Puffed Wheat) and then probably off plan until tomorrow.

Well done, Denise, Greenbeanie, Claire, shala, Sandhy, Suewre, teallach, Lois and tweets.

    Hello and well done, adelef.

    Take care, beanielou.

Scenic route!!!! I’ve just been looking back and I am disgusted to see I am exactly the same weight as I was in the first week in January! I’ve zigzagged a little above and a little below all year. I must do better!

    \thought I’d posted this last night :
Well today has been interesting. I had to bite the bullet and buy a new laptop – old one just wouldn’t stay on and when it was on it kept doing weird things! I softened the blow by using all the Tesco vouchers I had, so with the boost I saved over £200. Now it’s on windows 8.1, entirely different from 7, and is still to be upgraded to 10. The layout (spacing ) of the keyboard is slightly different and I keep hitting the wrong key especially for caps – I keep doing e.g. \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\instead of I. \\\\\\\\\that’s driving me batty just now. Also I have hundreds, or probably thousands, of files I need to copy over. Apart from that, I think I’m going to love it!

Today’s syns : hm coffee bun (7 syns) – made for decorators, hm crab and cod fishcakes (4 syns)
\\\\\\\i’ll have hexa cheese and grapes for supper.

    Friday
Breakfast: poached egg on hexb toast, fruit
Lunch: AH spice sensation couscous (can’t remember flavour offhand (1-3syns), Total 0% fat Greek yogurt, cucumber & tomatoes
\\\\\\\\\\\dinner\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\: beef & ale stew (2 ½ syns), carrots, potatoes, Shape 0% fat yogurt
\snacks: Walkers French Fries (4 syns), chocolate digestive \\\94syns)

Maybe I’ll be functioning better soon.

Off to feed the decorators but not me, I’m not hungry – maybe those hypnotherapy tracks are working after all. \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\they could be blank after the first 5 mins, lol, for all I know!

  • Hi Maman, I do often have 2xsmall wholemeal bread for breakfast in work but daren't use syns on bread ... a very slippery (doughy) slope. I have no idea re. red cabbage. But it went down all beit covered with bit of garlic n chilli sauce. I am feeling more positive now that I know my meal plans are ok so am keeping on track. I have made the sausages for tonight (with less than 5% pork) fried a bit off to taste but def needed more "taste" so added more mustard and pepper. Seemed ok, will know for definite tonight and let you know. Thinking of mash and carrots with small amount of gravy maybe? I have stew for lunch or may use the rest of my salad up (with the cabbage even) and use some syns maybe on some tuna (only like it in oil) or some breaded fish. OOOh decisions , decisions lol.
  • Pink grapefruit squash...gotta love it. That and NAS Vimto are my two favs. Robinsons on offer n Morries now at half price.

greentiger - I've got Windows 8.1 on my laptop and absolutely hate it! Will be updating to 10 when I come back from holiday, won't do it before because you only have a month to change back if you don't like it and I'm away for 3 and 1/2 weeks.

How do you make your crab & cod fishcakes that makes them 4 syns. When I make fishcakes I just use mash & cooked fish with usually some spring onion. If too dry I add a bit of beaten egg so they end up being Free.

Greentiger I know exactly how you feel. I've now been in and around this weight for 2 solid months.
