Wow this thread takes some keeping up with. Thanks everyone for words of encouragement. Maman, re. not using syns. my real weakness is bread and crisps and no amount of syns can cover what I can guzzle if left to my own devices so I choose not to start. This means as a general rule I'm not using them. Some days I have used maybe 7 or 8, but this has been on gravies /sauces or an odd lolly. I am trying to incorporate more speed foods where I can, see taking the advice on board everyone where I can. I am going to have a go at making the sausages . I think in recipe "homemade sausages and colcannon" Has anyone tried them? If not I will let you know how I get on. I am thinking of a treat tonight of a chicken shish kebab(takeaway) without naan or pitta, bit of sauce, mint &chilli with extra side salad. as I don't know syns was just thinking of writing of 10 syns and hoping that will do. I am struggling to keep up with all the posts on here. You are all such a helpful and supportive bunch. I am hoping that I will soon be able to pass on some advice rather than just be in need of it lol x

If it makes any difference, I'd prefer 1st November as that's the day I'll be heading off to Spain - it's 72 days away, not that I'm counting! :rotfl:

    LL :)

I was trying to work it so the Nov/Xmas challenge was about the same length as we usually stop just before Xmas, but it confused my tiny little mind :rotfl:

So i'm overjoyed, I seem to have managed to lose 1.5lbs tonight.. :j:j:j:j 3rd week with a loss (that's a personal best :p), club 10 award and my 1.5 stone award got:T:T and my lowest weight in about 5 years :T:T

We went to the gym for an hour before weigh in (last chance workout style for any Biggest Loser fans :D) so I don't know if that made a difference..

Well done tweets, greenbeanie and Claire :T:T

Well just had my shish and think I may have over synned. Only have to count some garlic and chilli sauce so going with 5 syns......and I ate red cabbage. And side salad was enough to halve so I have salad lunch ready for tomorrow.Result all around!! I am ready for the next challenge also, as I haven't really got into my stride in time for this one. Count me in!!X
