Glad to managed to find some clothes in the Sainsbug sale! Our local Sainsbugs is only small and has a very limited range of clothes, most of which is kids. The only ladies stuff they seem to do is undies & t-shirts.
I don't think I've ever done a Red day so well done for seeing your mistake before it was too late and syns were consumed.;)
I have all sizes of Sainsbury's within 3 miles of where we live so I know what you mean. Strange that b-e-g's is big enough for a clothing range but doesn't sell the burgers.
Thanks to our Asda expert on the sausage update. I'll still try them to compare with Sainsbury's. I only eat 2 so an extra syn isn't going to kill me. We've got sausages tonight. Had intended to make this

which is delicious but feeling a bit lazy so may just do sausage and mash.
Today's EE menu:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB toast, baked beans
L: JP with cottage cheese, spring onion and beetrootsausage, veg and potatoes in some form!
Syns: scrape of spread, 2 syns for sausages then either chorizo or gravy.
I need to chop the chorizo into pieces for the freezer. What size portions did you say you did denise?0 -

Have to say I was pleased I realised in time that it wasn't a Red day! also means I can have the sweetcorn and beans, as well as chips instead of jacket. Have prepped them ready - they're cooling and drying now. Hope they are dried when I come to cook them as I hate having to dry them on a teatowel:(.
I used to buy the Tesco Cumberland sausages but I noticed they've got up to 1.5 as well when I checked. I now buy ones from my local butcher which he makes with really lean pork and no cereal (the same as the Joe's sausages which SW used to endorse). They used to be Free but our consultant says to be on the safe side we should syn them at 0.5 syn, which is fine by me as still less syns than any of the SM ones:T.
Chorizo I cut and then wrap in greaseproof in 25g lots; then freeze them wrapped in a freezer back and just take out 1 or 2 depending on what I'm making.

Thanks for that. I bought a whole ring with the intention of freezing most of it after making the sausage casserole. I'm going to allow about 3 syns per 25g. Does that sound OK?
Decided to make casserole after all. DH won't be back for a while so I've plenty of time. And it uses up another tine of butter beans!:rotfl:0 -
Have just checked the number of weeks until Christmas. I need to be back at target by the start of December! Given me a little kick up the bottom anyway.:( I'll be miserable at Christmas if I'm not back to target as if its anything like last Christmas I'll be bouncing into the New Year like a balloon!
Time to get this off! How can it be not too hard to lose nearly 7 stone but try to lose 18 again and it seems impossible

I have checked them out online to see what the packaging looks like and they are not going to escape me this week. I must track them down. They get some really good reviews. I might actually ask at Customers Services to see if they could find out whether or not they stock them. The hm ones we had on Monday were very nice (cheese triangle in the middle) but the frozen ones would be convenient and a good standby.
Talking of supermarket clothing - has anyone tried Morrisons clothing range? I went into our local store at the weekend - just for some diet lemonade for a friend - ended up picking up all sorts and as DH and DS disappeared through the checkouts, I spotted Womens clothing. I thought they only did children's clothing. Well I spotted a lovely ladies tee shirt for £4. The sizing seems quite fair - I bought 16-18 (the 16 bit is starting to creep in a little bit) and the fabric seems decent quality - not too thin. Don't know what it will wash like but I thought it was worth a try for that price. Sadly I didn't get a chance to investigate the range any further.
Tonight's meal was lovely homemade broth (2 bowls full) - loads of pulses, veggies and a pack of cooking bacon and all I am going to say is nom nom
Just counted the number of weeks to Christmas lantanna and I have 18 wi's till the Monday before Christmas. So, in theory, at 1lb/week loss I could be under 12st for Christmas. I shouldn't really try to work these things out because as soon as I do - everything goes pear-shaped  Hope the numbers work out for you as you have already done so much hard work. How is the de-cluttering coming along? Pity we didn't live near each other as I just love itI am not a hoarder by any means so don't really get much chance to have a good old clear out. DS is moving out this week - oh dear me the plans I have been making for all the space we are going to have :rotfl:

Hi everyone
Checking in with my WI which was a gain of 0.5lb which I'm quite surprised at, was expecting a much bigger gain. Well done jps for SOTW :T and congrats losers.
I'm all virused up at the moment so not able to exercise very much. I've been stress eating as well - I had a lump removed from my leg yesterday and I'd been absolutely dreading the 'op' all week but in the end it went fine and I've felt no pain from it since, all that worry for nothingJust hoping now that it turns out to be nothing nasty!
This was my last WI for this challenge as I'm away on my hols on Monday for 2 weeks. Am expecting a monster gain while I'm away but will stick to plan as much as I can. I've only just managed to fit into my holiday clothes that were too small for me last year so I don't want to blow it and come back 2 sizes bigger!0
