  • Hi Meg, thanks for that. I knew they would be high :( I had lightly dusted haddock fillet after which I have syned at 6. Some things I am just having to make a stab at. They will have to be used as an emergency accompaniment as I don't want to use too many syns to make meals when I could use free foods. Anyway hope everyone is having a good day. I got called into work at 01.00 this morning and am definetly feeling the effects today. DIDN'T eat though!!!
  • Thanks Lois, but I am one of those rarified creatures who is not on FB. I rely on you bunch of lovelies:)
  • I wonder what we all are size wise at different weights/ heights. I know at 12 st I am 12 jeans 14/16 top(gotta love what your mamma gave you!) But I was also the same when I lost 1st. I know facially that anywhere near 10 st I would look like Zelda (remember Terrahawks?Google it if you don't....ain't pretty lol)
What about posting the differences /range for comparisons. There is most definetly not one weight fits all scenario is there.

That's a shame getting STS again this week wiz. It could be stress (from worrying) that causing your pains but I'd definitely go back to the doctor to set your mind at rest.

Glad your back's a bit better lois. I get a problem with one of the discs in my back occasionally, not sure what triggers it but I have to take co-codamol and amitriptyline to sort it. Didn't realise you couldn't drink with it:o. But I don't drive with the medication anyway as it makes me really woozy.

Thankyou... I think this time I'm going to need it!

When I am slimmer, I have a rather narrow waist, but I have curves. At my lowest, I was 12st and was a large size 12. I don't think I would look well at anything under 11st to be honest; however, size is what I am focused on... so if I get to a 'true to life' size 12 (or a little slimmer) I don't give a fiddlers what I weigh... as long as I look healthy and in proportion for my height.

I'm always amazed when I read the magazines (SW and others) about what size people are for different weights. It has to be something to do with bone structure. I know at 10st 7 and 5ft 9 I'm a small size 12 (sometimes 10) with decent quality clothes but cheaper stuff (Primark, Matalan, SMs) usually comes out bigger unless it's a more floaty style. My weight is right for my height on the charts.

We're having HB steak again today. I wouldn't normally have it two weeks running but we're out later this afternoon so won't have time to cook a joint when I get back and I do love my Sunday roasts.:) So I've got it cooking now and I'll just reheat and thicken on the hob when the roasties are cooking later.

I've decided I'll slice the pork from yesterday in thin strips, freeze and use for stir fry. That works well with beef so should be fine with pork too.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS Ribena, scrambled eggs, HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks
L: not hungry but got some strawberries to eat up
D: HB steak with SW roasties, carrots and greens (cauli?cabbage?broccoli?).
    Syns: weekend wine:)

 good to see you back FE. Like denise, I've mostly got time for a leisurely cooked breakfast. On the days I do have to be up and out for meetings I mostly rely on cereal but as it's not every day I can cope with that. When I worked every day it was sometimes a banana eaten in the car!

When you were posting before I remember you were excellent in knowing the SW plan but work/family meals got in the way. I think planning is the key to success on SW (that and Speed food of course;)). Maybe you're going to have to prep things the night before so you go to work with lots of things to munch on and don't get sidetracked into coffee shops. So things like frittata or hard boiled eggs or cold sausages or pasta salads or savoury rice with Speed bits chopped in or cold meats. I don't have a sweet tooth but other options would be things like fruit and yogurts. There are heaps of ideas but it's sticking to your plan that will make the difference.

I've not done my meal plan yet so will post menu later. So far just had SW breakfast (2 fried eggs on HEB toast).

Hello  yes I know the plan (inside out almost!) but I'm rubbish at following it. I've never been very good with the extra easy plan since it was introduced. Always found the structure of the old plans worked better for me.:)

I've tried to be a bit more organised over the last week but still there have been too many nibble moments so I'm regularly going over my syns. I bought myself a new calendar so hope to plan a bit better and get organised. :j

I hope everyone is having a lovely day :T
