Hmmm have heard of this HB braised steak thing on here. Will definetly look into it. Yes I was impressed to get a response myself lol. I am bright and early today, waiting to see if a "guy" turns up to paint o/s of my house. I am just thinking of some bacon medallions, couple of eggs and some old school spaghetti hoops .

Thanks to everyome who is trying to steer me down veg alley, but in all honesty after nearly 51 yrs I don't think its going to happen. I will tolerate carrots covered in gravy and mint sauce and occasionally mushy peas with battered cod but that's it. Fruit, well just about my fav thing to eat, apart from melon. My leader did get back to me today and says my diary was fine I just have to stick with it, which I am doing. I will get there, I know it! Thanks everyone once again. So much support here.

51 yrs, mine is 75 years but I really am like you. if I could do without totally I would, I really hate them, ask Maman,
The funny thing is that if I make soup or broth I can eat all the veg, but not separately on a plate. Pickled cauli I love.Cooked,it's a no no.,
Anyway as long as what we are doing works, that's all that matters.
    We will keep going regardless.:)

Ha, I am exactly the same lol. I make a fantabulous veg soup , just use a whole bag of casserole veg. I chuck in loads of pepper n stuff so it doesn't taste of veg once its blended. Result!! Like a flippin'5 yr old lol

    Morning all :)

Lovely and sunny this morning, much better than the last couple of days. There's nothing worse than trying to get the deliveries into the shop when it's chucking down.

I've been suffering an attack of sciatica for the last couple of days and it was so bad yesterday morning I couldn't sit down, so DH went to the chemist to get me some co-codamal which is the only thing that works. So I spent the day looking forward to some Friday night wine syns only to be reminded (luckily) by DH that you can't drink alcohol with co-codamol - doh!

Ah well, that's a few syns saved. :) We'll have to have our wine syns in the week instead of at the weekend.

    Have a good weekend everyone.

Minus 1lb please for me Shala

Urgh, so last night the parents were having a domestic and I was getting lots of phone calls and texts from both. Neither seem to understand that I may be 36 but I still don't want to hear about it and it still upsets me.

So I was annoyed and was about to bounce up to Lidl for a bottle of red and a bar of my favourite dark choc when I thought no the only person I will be hurting is myself. I'll regret it and will end up hungover and eating off plan all day today.

So I had an options hot choc and a packet of 4 syn crisps and was very pleased with myself!:D

Tonight however is gin night and its Friday so it doesn't count and is allowed. :rotfl:

Whats the update with the Man Meg? I totally get you on not taking on a dog, I'm the same. I'm not in a position to care for one properly right now as much as I would love one.

Sorry you were upset with the Parents I used to get this all the time with mine and it was horrible, I would be upset and worried for days while they were happlily kissing and making up. One day after yet another tearful phone call from my bag packing never coming back Mum I rushed over ,they lived 30 mile away from me, so taxi, train and another taxi, got there to find them making pancakes and giggling in the kitchen, I exploded and told them they were like a couple of kids and they could bloody well pack it up. I left straight away taxi, train and another taxi home. Got a phone call from a worried Brother to ask if I was OK. Mum had phoned him to say don't know whats up with our Meg, shes gone funny, think shes in the change :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Sorry to hear about your bad back lois and even sorrier to hear about you missing out on wine syns. Using the bike sounds like a good solution wiz and good Body Magic too.

I've just been trying to 'remove all visible fat' from a joint of pork. What a faff!!! Planning to try the SW pulled pork recipe later so thought I'd do some prep as it takes an age to cook. Feeling very cross with Tesco at the moment. If they hadn't changed the recipe I could be just shoving theirs in the oven.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB porage, HEA milk
L: Half a Crunchie and Coffee;)
D: pulled pork probably with onions, green beans and chips
Syns: squirt of syrup, chocolate, wine......:o

Have a good day all. We're off to football and the sun is shining!:D

    Afternoon all..

I lost another 2lb last week at weigh in, however, I've done what I always do when I get to my lowest weight and used it as a green light to stuff my face - so papa johns, icecream, fat sandwich, crisps, cookies and popcorn over the last two days i'm probably looking at a gain next week unless I reign it in big style.. bring on the red days! :D

Mass catch up again because I've completely slacked on here of late..

Wiz - glad you're ok, can't believe you enjoyed hospital food enough to make it at home ;):rotfl:

Some great losses :T and that's an ok gain Teallach, as long as you enjoyed your hols then that's all that matters.

    Welcome back MrsR:wave:

Hello and welcome to Suewre and Dillon

I tend to find on SP days I eat too much bread mumoftwo, so it counteracts the not eating of pasta and rice etc.. I find it too boring to do for more than a few days so I tend to do red days instead from the old plan. I thought you weren't meant to do SP for more than a few weeks so I hope the Instagram lady is being sensible about it... SWpolice.gif

Sorry to hear about your fella Meg, i'm sure there's one who's lovelier around the corner x

I hope you serve SW friendly food! ;)

Hope you're feeling a little better Lois x

Enjoy the pulled pork maman,

Well it's a red day for me today (can't do SP as I've had yogurt)

    B - apple, melon, yogurt, PB hottie 5g (1)
L - chicken sandwich (heb) salad, crisps (5)
T - chicken and leek pie thing with grated potato top (skin on so 0.5 Heb)
S - milk in tea (hea) more melon, 2-3 Weetabix muffins (0.5heb and 1)

OH is off out tonight so i'm making the Weetabix muffins to nibble on if I feel the need (and they help up my fibre intake!)

    Have a good one xx

    Hi again

Thanks for the good wishes. I'm pain free at the moment and haven't taken any painkillers since this morning so I'm hoping it's passed. I find walking is the best cure so I've spent the morning finding excuses to go out of the shop - it avoids sitting down anyway!

Meg - sorry to hear about the man, it must be so disappointing when you thought he might be the one. Enjoy your party.

Lantanna - your story about your parents brought back bad memories for me. My parents divorced when I was in my 20's following several years of being piggy in the middle. They should have divorced sooner but in those days people stayed together for the sake of the children, although I think it was more damaging for me and my siblings, never knowing if war or peace reigned.

    Better go - customers!
