Hi everyone! I'm a long time MSE lurker and also a returning Slimming Wolrd member. Saw this thread and thought you looked lovely so am here to introduce myself. I have 46.5lb to lose, just started back at SW and have lost 3.5lb in 3 weeks so far - too many summer events! Am hoping for small losses in August and then will start to hammer it from September onwards!

Hope you're all having a lovely weekend!

    Good Afternoon :)

    AgentSquirrel :hello:

    Welcome to the thread :)

Hi all, I 'd love to join in . Only just found you. My DD and myself joined SW last week , first WI tomorrow night. DD has done well with SW previously buy I have always done WW, just got a bit (lot) bored with it and needed a change. I'm on the look out for all the tips and sneaky finds that only seem to come about from a forum. especially as I don't do facebook. Happy losing everyone.

    Welcome aboard spuddysue :hello:

Had the Hairy Bikers Sausage Casserole for tea maman and it turned out quite tasty. Used the demarara sugar this time but would probably just use sweetener next time and we didn't have any wine open so just used a slug of dry sherry. The alcohol was optional but it would have been a bit rude to have altered the recipe too much - wouldn't it? Go on give the recipe a go - it uses butter beans :p:rotfl:

Re Windows 10 - quite like it so far (daren't say it too loudly and keeping all fingers and toes crossed). The main thing that is bugging me is that I keep getting a message popping up telling me that 'USB DEVICE NOT RECOGNISED The last USB device you connected to this computer malfunctioned and Windows does not recognise it'. Haven't got a clue what all that is about as I cannot remember ever connecting a USB Device. DS has tried to sort it but it has left him scratching his head and so far has been unable to disable whatever its causing message to pop up.

Hope everyone has a good week.

    Howdy..

Welcome to the thread Sue and Squirrel

The challenge is just a little thing we do to set ourselves a mini target.. the challenge which is running at the moment finishes on the 30th August, so you still have a few weeks left to join in if you wish. Just let me know how much you want to lose by week ending the 30th and i'll pop you on the list.

I produce a chart of everyone's losses each week on a Tuesday and we celebrate the brilliant Slimmer of the week..

e.t.a. I just saw you found it, I've added you on... :D

Meg - that place looks lovely, enjoy your birthday, remember everything is syn-free on your birthday ;)

TIE - sorry to hear your tummy issues, my friend has the same and finds her doctor really unhelpful too.. :( hope you get a nice doctor that will listen!

I haven't been great today, i'm just fed up of thinking about food, does anyone else get this? I've made myself go and prepare my food for tomorrow otherwise i'd have ended up down at the canteen eating naughty sammiches again :naughty:

    So menu for tomorrow EE
    B - apple, yogurt, granola (0.5heb)
    L - potato skins, cheese (0.5hea) pickles
T - chicken stir fry, noodles, carrots, mange tout, peppers etc
    S - crisps (5) alpen light (0.5 heb) milk (0.5hea)

    have a good one xx
