I told my mam after the 2nd date I was going to marry him and have his babies. :D

haha but it is actually going really well. We're going away next weekend and again at the end of October. I just wish he lived closer and not 45 miles away! :o

So pleased its going well for you, where are you off to next weekend?

I am really excited as next Sunday is my Birthday party being held here if anyone wants a look

Also it will be the first time my family get to meet the Man I have been seeing for the last 4 months. I know it seems a long time but
wanted to be sure this was not just a fling before involving family
    especially the children.

Sneaky weigh in this morning and showing a 2lb loss, never thought I wouldn't be pleased with that :rotfl:but it brings me 4lb under target so need to get scoffing if I am to keep my fiver :rotfl:

Ironic isn't it STS for weeks and then start to lose when I don't want to.

  • Hi everyone! I'm a long time MSE lurker and also a returning Slimming Wolrd member. Saw this thread and thought you looked lovely so am here to introduce myself. I have 46.5lb to lose, just started back at SW and have lost 3.5lb in 3 weeks so far - too many summer events! Am hoping for small losses in August and then will start to hammer it from September onwards!

Hope you're all having a lovely weekend!

Never mind wiz, better than a gain. This is getting like a real SW group with trite statements being handed out!!:o:rotfl:

Glad you came out of lurkdom squirrel. How long since you did the plan before? Just ask if you've any questions. There's always someone around to help.

I'm longing for that to happen again! Although school holidays are a relatively quiet time for me, I still seem to have enough off plan meals to maintain. I'd love to lose a few more pounds. 4 would be perfect!

That looks a lovely site meg. Hope the sun shines on you. Are you staying for the weekend? It's a beautiful part of the world. We had a little holiday in the area (Portmeirion, Ironbridge, Shrewbsury, Ludlow) a couple of years ago. I seem to remember the Long Mynd is very imposing as you drive down the valley.

As we've got SIL and BIL coming today, menu will be a bit different from normal i.e. we'll be having a pudding! Decided on old stalwart of DIY Eton mess. So big bowl of strawberries and raspberries, bowl of mini meringues (1 syn each), jug of cream, bowl of Total 0% and everyone helps themselves. We'll probably eat late afternoon so I'll just graze at lunchtime.

    Today's EE menu:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB toast, scrambled eggs, HEA milk for drinks
L: ham, tomatoes or LO savoury rice
D: HB steaks with onions, mushrooms, new potatoes, broccoli, cauli, carrots, peas followed by Eton mess
Syns: wine;) and maybe some meringues

Looks lovely, hope you have a wonderful weekend and hope the sun shines on your Birthday :A

I have decided not to post any WIs until I go back to work to see if I can keep within or around my last recorded weigh ie when I broke up from work. Going by my clothes everything is loose so that's a good start :D. still having the most horrid tummy issues, looking like another trip to the Dr, hoping for a different Dr this time someone who's willing to listen and not just fob me off. Am in a lot of discomfort and totally fed up :(
Tummy is so bloated from all the Meds I've taken today I can't face food :(
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

I think we are going to give the HB Sausage Casserole a go tonight maman. Have found some Sainsbobs lf sausages in freezer and should be able to find most of the other ingredients (SW friendly) in some form or other :D. Will report back later to let you know what we use and how it goes.

Made a huge pot of broth earlier using a pack of very lean cooking bacon (huge thick chunks) and I am sure it was only £1.15 so quite :money: Mind you, we had to pay £1.29 for pack of broth mix at little corner shop  (79p in Asda) but it would have cost more than the 50p in petrol and we wouldn't have just bought the broth mix in Asda ;).

Really need to get some Mini Milk lollies in (1.5 syns)- I find them useful if I just need something that isn't fruit or ff yoghurt.

Hope you're all having a lovely Sunday. I have been getting into a routine of doing a bit of fleabaying on a Sunday and am pleased to say that I will be taking a couple of parcels to the Post Office over the next couple of days. :D
