Hi everyone, I've got my laptop back, so I'll be bale to pester you all again.
My, how you (and I have to include me in that) do blether ! And on what a range of topics, love it.
Well Wednesday went from bad to worse food wise. I did set out to do well. There wasn't much SW friendly stuff on the menu when I was out for lunch. Unfortunately I'd been out since early morning and I was a tad hungry, to put it mildly. I had a steak ciabatta with salad and coleslaw - too hungry to leave ciabatta and forgot to say leave the dressing off the salad, so I ate the coleslaw too. That makes sense, doesn't it? My friend was having rhubarb crumble (which I love) but I resisted all the syn laden desserts and opted to have a starter for pudding - melon & prawns in a marie rose dressing with more dressed salad. Didn't make any dinner because I was too tired by the time I got home and snacked on all sorts of bad treats until bed time.
I'm hoping that my syn saving on Monday & Tuesday will help compensate for this gazaster (as my wee grendson used to say).
Back on it today.

1.5lb loss for me this week
Not sure how I've managed that as I've been ill since the weekend and only eaten cereal and little bits of fruit. Very happy though as it means I've lost 2 & and a half stone now, just under a stone to go till I'll be at my target weight :j
Well done all losers this week :T:T0 -

Hi all thanks for the well wishes. i am feeling much better now although still super tired and the anesthetic seems to have robbed me of my short term memory completely! I just hunted high and low for my overnight oats at work as (I thought) I had taken them out of the fridge and grabbed a spoon from the kitchen at the same time. I then went and sat down at my desk to discover I was holding a spoon but no oats. Convinced I had put them down somewhere en route I retraced my steps several times to no avail, only to find them in my bag - I'd either put them back in there for some reason or never put them in the fridge in the first place
Anyway - it was the first time I've tried the overnight oats and i really enjoyed them, so it all worked out in the end!
Congrats to joee for SOTW, and BEG, Tweets and teallach for hitting your challenge targets! :T
i think I am on for a small gain this week still but am OK with that all things considered. My eatig is back on plan but I'm too tired to do any exercise beyond walking right now so will just have to take it as it comes. Lantanna I'm glad to hear you are starting to feel better now, I am hoping to be back at the gym before too long.
