Not really in the zone at the moment but trying to keep plodding. Not expecting a loss tomorrow although may scrape a STS rather than a gain (hopefully!). Definitely had too many syns over the weekend and struggling to keep to 2-3 a day. It didn't help that on Monday DH made us a jug of Pimms and I had 2 glasses, fortunately it wasn't as strong as he usually makes it as it was the end of the bottle so probably only 5 syns. Need to tot up again but think I probably don't have any syns left for today but need some for dinner tonight!

Welcome to all the newbies, congratulations of Joee on SOTW.

    Another EE day today:

B - scrambled eggs on toast
    L - LO veg soup
    D - corned beef hash - about 4 syns I think.

HEA - milk in tea throughout the day
    HEB - bread

No other syns other than the corned beef.

    Hello everyone
a good week overall with lots of running which I think is why I can only report .5 lb loss this week
    Hey ho, better than nothing
hope everyone has a good week, summer hols are tough for some so stay focused on big picture and don't beat yourself up for little slips, get back on it straight away :)

    I know the feeling!!!:D

abbafan, just keep asking about anything you want to know. probably the abbreviations I use most are LO (left overs because I eat a lot of those!;)), NAS because I have No Added Sugar Ribena every morning in place of juice and JP (jacket potato as they're such an easy lunch).

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS Ribena, 2 fried eggs, HEB toast
L: LO chicken bake and half a melon
D: baked cod, SW chips, broccoli and cauli cheese
Syns: squirt of HP sauce, cheese sauce

Like denise, I probably can't spare the syns for my dinner but in the scheme of things one meal isn't going to make a huge difference. DD2 has said she's visiting on Friday as she wants to shop in city centre. That'll probably mean and off plan lunch too but that's all for this week.

Thanks for the chart shala and congratulations to joee on SOTW :T:j:T

Did consider upping my challenge target shala for the remaining weeks but have decided not to bother as we have several social [STRIKE]outings[/STRIKE] eatings coming up in the week ahead and I will probably be undoing the damage from them over the next weeks. :rotfl:

Got a lovely beef joint last week from Sainsbobs (£5.00 kg) and DH has sliced it up and bunged it in the SC this morning to make it into Hairy Bikers beef. Will then portion it up for the freezer so that we have our own ready meals :D

Still waiting for garage to ring to say they have car part - they are being given till just after 2pm and then they will be getting a call

Depending on/if we get car back tonight, I may have a trip through to Tesco's to see if they have any of the fresh salmon fillets (75p each) that are on offer. Will probably get there to find they have sold out. :(

Just back from group and I've lost -2 1/2 lbs, thanks Shala and was slimmer of the month. Really pleased I got my first stone, only 11 more to go. Better eat some lunch, I'm really hungry.

Great loss mumoftwo and congratulations being SOTM :T:j:T:j It's a great way to think of the stones to go - one at a time :D That's what I usually do as the task at the start was so daunting and unachievable  Another way, I sometimes look at it is - getting into a lower number (stones) on the scales. Monday night saw me at 13st 0.5lb - would have so loved to have made it 12 something - although it would probably have been short-lived due to the up-coming celebrations :rotfl:

Vegetable cous-cous for lunch with loads of speed stuff chucked just for good measure. ;)

Car update - had to phone garage and car is now in their possession as the part had just arrived. They have said that if all goes well - it might take an hour - on the other hand ......................... (watch this space) ;)

Thanks b_e_g, good advice, just taking it 1/2 stone at a time, I've got a heart shaped blackboard and 2 jars with love hearts (one with "going" and one with "gone" on it) to keep track and motivated.

How did you stay motivated through the stones? Good luck with the car x
