Hi all, just a quick post and haven't had chance to read back sorry. Please can I be put down for STS for last week if I'm not too late. Haven't been able to weigh in properly as I had the operation I've been waiting for last week and it has left me pretty swollen up and feeling meh. Have been drowning my sorrows in a bit too much naughty food as well so need to reign myself in now. Haven't been too awful but have also been a lot less active than normalso will see what this week brings.

Hope everyone is ok, will read back tonight x

Well, gone for a SP day: beans, egg on toast, apple
Steak stir fry with lots of veg
White fish in a spicy tomato and veg sauce

    Nectarine apple for snacks

Will have hifi bar and hot chocolate later, used some coconut oil for ,

Sorry you feel a bit down Maman. Lantanna is right, we're fabulous!

I've been swimming again this afternoon, I've ordered a new costume and I don't care what people think, I love swimming, so what if it's still a size 26, nothing is hanging out that shouldn't. Fabulous!

Hi all, it's another STS for me this week. Bit frustrating but I did have my tea before I went to group, as I was staying this week, so I reckon if I'd not had my tea I'd have shown a small loss.

I do really need to be careful now we've broken up for the summer though, my past history with school holidays is always gaining. I want to kick that trend so I am planning a lot of walking to help me stay feeling good and motivated.

Good luck all, sorry haven't responded to any posts, very busy atm. Good luck all and thanks for all the support from the thread, and for the chart Shala xx

  • B_e_g you are absolutely right it's all about attitude and it's something I really need to work on. I need to see the bigger picture rather than get bogged down by the numbers. I need to be in this for the long haul not a quick fix.

    So today I had
Breakfast. Overnight oats, peanut hottie and a banana (hen and 4 syns)
Lunch... Smoked salmon, cherry tomatoes, sugar snap peas, cucumber, new potatoes
Dinner.... Chicken wrapped in bacon and stuffed with chive and garlic quark, stir fried courgette, peppers, kale and a few left over potatoes, a few small bits of chorizo (2 syns estimated as about 15 grams)

tomorrows my birthday so dh is going to make salad and homemade burgers with all the trimmings so shouldn't be too bad but there is likely to be birthday cake:o

Hi I'm new to this thread.

Had a card for Slimming World pushed through my door today and am thinking about going.

Have thought about it before, but my local group was in the week which isn't possible for me. This new group will be on a Saturday morning, which is perfect for me.

Are the groups worth it? Not only do I need to lose lots of weight, but I need to meet new people, especially people who are in the same situation as me.

Any help would be appreciated. :)

I think the group is well worth it & you will hopefully meet lovely supportive people.
The people in my group are great & we have a wee laugh too.
