Well done to b_e_g, Saver-upper, Greentiger, jpscloud, JediWinner, Maisie M, candyapple, tweets on losses and anyone I’ve missed! :j

Congrats Annie and Teallach on SotW!! :j

Welcome to the new posters! :hello:

Shala, it’s a STS for me this week. Not unexpected as I have been to a lot of celebration-type things recently and I think it’s catching up (meals out with bad choices and alcohol!). Am going to be extra good this weekend as I have one more weigh-in before going on holiday!

Could anyone give advice on setting a target? I’d sort-of thought about a target of the middle of my BMI but not sure really.
    SW Week 1-5: -12lb Week 6-10: -4.5lb Week 11-15: +0.5lb Week 16: -1lb Week 17: -1lb Week 18: STS Total Loss -1 Stone 4lb!

You don't have to set a target if you don't want to. Some people just wait until they feel right, happy with dress size etc then call it. And if you call target then change your mind that's OK too. Or you can have interim targets to break it down into stages if that helps.

I just remembered a weight I'd been years ago that I was happy with.

These sort of charts can be quite useful

My target falls right in the middle of healthy weight for my height.

There should be one in your pack.

    HTH:)

Well I'm not sure what I think of chicken mince. It is more of a meat paste than the usual texture of mince and made very dense little balls even with the grated apple in it. I didn't dust with breadcrumbs but did cook in the oven and served with rice and a passata, courgette and onion sauce.
I have saved some of the meatballs to eat cold with salad another day and we will see if I prefer them cold. One thing that did occur to me was should I Syn the apple since it gets cooked? 1 Apple between 6 portions of meatballs.
Thanks for all the help today, I really appreciate it xx

How did you make the onion bhajis? a paste? with smash? Seen so many different ways (and I'm wanting to make these tomorrow!! ) :p:p:j

I used the Scan Bran Bhaji recipe on SW website Jedi. Only I used ryvitas instead of scan bran but I think they would have been better with reduced liquid or even just stick with the egg.

When I make bhajis I use the recipe on the SW website which uses 60g of gram flour to 200g of sliced onions. The recipe makes 12 @ 1 syn each.

    Denise

Hadn't realised there were these on the website Denise. I was told by a member in our class just to look up scan bran bhajis as they were the the ones she'd done and enjoyed.

Might try the other ones just to compare.

Glad you got your laptop back. I hate the job of putting everything back to the way it was.
