I'm doing SW and getting so annoyed with myself !! I have only lost 8 pounds since Feb. My group is on a Friday so I always put on at the weekend and lose it during the week to end up where I was at the start !! I feel like a complete failure when I read stories of people who have lost stones in the same number of months!
    Hi all,

I am trying to do slimming world on my own and have been a long time lurker on this thread - which is amazing btw, your all so helpful and friendly!! I wondered if there was any chance I can add my self to this challenge - might just give me the extra motivation I need to stick to plan.

    Thanks

well done Tweets, fab as alway and everyone else.

well I am over the moon I lost 5 1/2 lbs!!! 9.5 to go now!

Well done Claire - that's an amazing loss :T I think it is probably a good idea to have syns Claire so that if you start to hit a plateau it's always something to cut back on and by having them there is less chance of feeling deprived of things. Some people back their syns say for a weekend so that they can have a 'few drinks' ;) etc. I have tried cutting syns right back in the past in the hope that it will speed up loss and truthfully speaking - it didn't work. Good luck for next week. :D

Well done to you too tweets on your loss :T. Great position to be in - just a smidge under target ;)

Told you it was easy :D.

Are you eating more than before SW ?

At work they cant believe it I can lose weight when I have my egg butty with veg for dinner with a bag fruit :)

Not well up on the syns think maman will help you when she reappears .

Without a doubt I ate so well last week, I had lots of stir frys made my own kebabs. Enjoyed lots of different things.

if I have treats that is when I will stray so will try to keep off them for now until I have lost a bit more.

Tonight I've made my own chips with the mayflower curry sauce it was lovely just tastes like one from the Chinese!

I've found Pinterest really useful I just pin what I like and will make. I'm going to try the KFC chicken tommorow, home made of course. X

Hi all, missed posting last night (danger day proved to be so dangerous!) Welcome newbies. Great stuff from our wonderful losers. I hope things improve soon for those of you dealing with issues of your own.

I have to admit to being a real nutter! You all know I do not like chocolate cake in any form at all. No, I did not have any, I haven;t changed, but ....... I found a recipe for rolo muffins that come in at 2 1/2 syns each, so I thought I'd make them sometime. (Why? Don't know anyone else doing SW.) So while I was out I bought the rolos - a 3 pack of course - but there weren't any options (don't like them either) in HB. That meant that I couldn't make the muffins but there were rolos feeling all lonely and unwanted, so I ate 2 - packs that is, not sweets. Problem is there is still 1 pack lurking in the cupboard, calling to me.

Tried to make up today, but not too successful. Need to sort myself out tomorrow.

Breakfast: fruit & ff Greek yogurt
Lunch: meat salad sandwich (hexb), Milbona chocolate & orange sprinkle yogurt (1/2 syn)
Dinner: gammon steak, egg, SW chips, some sort of vegs, cherries & ff Greek yogurt
Snacks: banana, hexa cheese, chocolate digestive (4 syns)

Sell it in home bargains 99p, it is so nice and don't need to make much of it as it goes a long way. I made a little too much tonight but I still ate it all. I have mastered my chips to a fine art , apparently it's all about the drying process! That's from Pinterest too.
