Oh dear shala:eek: Looking at your menu, if you eat minimal amount of bacon in your frittata then you could have a Green day and call the feta a HEA. It all helps.;)charlie-chan wrote: »The chicken breast mince could be used to make homemade burgers or meatballs?
These look easy and tasty midge.

Are you trying EESP lantanna?
I'm another that needs to join in the 'drink more water' campaign. How much a day are we aiming at? Do you count other drinks or is it over and above? Not had any yet.:o
My EE plan for today:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB Puffed Wheat, HEA milk
L: JP planned but I'll be out over lunchtime so that may changecorned beef hash with greens
Syns: a few in the hash, maybe 5?
I've really been enjoying the sugar snaps that are in Aldi Super6 this week. Last night I did a mixture of these, asparagus and peas alongside the sausage bake. Very yummy.0 -

oooh,I haven't seen chicken mince in the shops for yeaaarrrsssss. When my 13yo was weaning,I used to make chicken and apple balls as a finger food. Then Tesco(and any other supermarket I seemed to go to) stopped selling it-something to do with 'elf an' safety,I am told.Would love to make these again.
Recipe:
packet of chicken mince
1 large eating apple, peeled and grated
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon chopped parsley (I used),or sage
pinch of mixed herbs
1/2 small onion, peeled and finely chopped
1 crumbled chicken stock cube(optional)
2 tab fresh breadcrumbs
Combine everything except breadcrumbs, make into meatballs, cover with breadcrumbs, and cook.Usually you would shallow fry for a few minutes, but I am sure baking them in the oven would work, for less syns.
Going to keep an eye out for chicken mince now. This used to be my favourite family/weaning meal when my 2 eldest were babies (until the shops stopped stocking..........)SPC #36 :staradminx 8.SPC7=£751.10 SPC8=£651.04 SPC9=£843.00 SPC10=£872.76

That sounds nice.
I've got some chicken mince in the freezer at the moment too, it came with an order of meat from Muscle Foods. I've been thinking about what to do with it.

No Maman just trying to go on easy on the carbs as they seem to stick to me and there my problem that's what I'm overeat on. Post op all I wanted to eat was toast and chicken burgers!!!!! Homemade of course and not chippy ones but still!!! SW Chips and gravy so its time to lighten things up!! Packs of Pasta and Sauce!! and low fat packets of crisps! I have completely been overdoing on carbs!
So just reducing not banning or cutting out just reducing lol Trying to lift the bloat and the sluggishness!
I had some cous cous with my salad and enjoyed it! But yes I suppose my dinner is ESSP although breakfast and lunch not but I'll just fuddle along doing it my own way aiming to get back to where I was before.
What was the thinking behind yogurts not being allowed on ESSP? I can't remember!0 -
I buy turkey mince all the time in Tesco if that helps anyone!0
