    Ninth Anniversary
1.5lb loss for me this week please shala. Over the moon with this as I've not had the best week food-wise, ended up having what was probably a whole week's worth of syns on Friday evening so I'm glad to be back on track. Well done to SOTWs and everyone on fab losses :T:T

It's been a good day so far. Our oven broke a couple of months ago and finally a guy came to mend it today and for some reason it ended up being free of charge despite it being an independent company who fixed it :D:money:I've seen loads of recipes I've been dying to try in the SW mags and ones I've seen on instagram since we've been oven-less so I can't wait to get experimenting again. Never ever thought I'd get so excited about having a working oven :rotfl:

    Hope everyone's having a good day :)

Well done Candyapple with that fab loss :T

Thank brunch looks really tasty Jedi :D No probs with pic ;)

Hope lappy gets sorted Denise without costing you an arm and a leg

Been working this morning and my energy is zapped now :(. Really need to get a wriggle on and pop out but haven't got any get up and go.

Just printed out recipe for Campfire Stew (might look for a little gammon joint if I can get my bum to move off sofa) and also would like to give the Scan Bran Onion Bhajis a go.

Will pop back later to have a catch up.

Candyapple I felt the same way about putting my own bin out last week smiley-chores037.gifafter not being too mobile for weeks! Sometimes in life it really is the little things isn't it. I'm happy that my interest in cooking healthy meals has returned as well!

Maman Donut Peaches are white inside and I would say firmer than a normal peach, they seem more refreshing to me than peaches. I got mine in Lidl

Picked up some Douwe Egberts Delicate Vanilla at lunchtime and it is truly lovely might be worth a try for anybody who likes something sweet and doesn't want to use syns. They are 2 cals per teaspoon with no milk, that's how I made mine and it was lovely. smiley-eatdrink013.gif

Also got some broccoli, cabbage and leeks to have under my mound of chili with hea cheese on the top tonight. smiley-eatdrink020.gif

For once we have an okish day here so might try and get out for a little walk tonight. Ive said it before and I'll keep saying it I cannot wait to get back to the gym!! Hurry up and heal body smiley-sport040.gif

I think I'm a little over excited to be back lol (smileys are the giveaway)!! I'm sure I'll calm down soon lol smiley-excited001.gif

We were only going to Tesco at first and checked them there and they were quite fatty and seemed a bit on the small side so we took a trip a bit firther down the road to Lidl and they came up trumps - quite a decent sized joint for £3.79 - result :j

While I was in Tesco, we discovered some salmon fillets, skinned and boneless on the fish counter for 75p each - quite a bargain. Bought four for the freezer and will try to pop back again later in the week.

So the intention is that we have Campfire Stew tomorrow and we are thinking of giving the onion bhajis a go for supper - watch this space :rotfl:

Has anyone tried the Tesco Olive Oil in Spray Bottle (bit like Frylight type bottle) and its 2 cals a spray and I think it was £1.60. Looks quite oily from what I can see but I thought we would give it a go.

Just popping in quick, busy bee tonight.

    Well done all losers! :T

Shala, can you put me down for a measley 1/4 loss please.

Better than nothing but bit meh. Though I have started weight training again in the last two weeks so maybe it's a bit of muscle. I have lost 1" off my waist too so I can't complain.

    Hope everyone's had a good day :)
  • Thank you Saver that's really helpful.

Does anyone know if chia seeds are a healthy extra or how many syns they are?

Your losses are an inspiration, you're all doing so well :)

    I've had
Bacon, eggs, tomatoes and a slice of toast (he)
Pineapple cottage cheese, ham, tomatoes and cucumber
Roasted veg, chicken, rice, 3 small bits of chorizo (syns)
Just about to have a nectarine, pomegranate seeds and a muller light coconut yogurt.
