    Evening :)

Thanks for the chart Shala and well done Annie and Teallach for SOTW :T

Well done JediWinner too - what a great first week loss! :j

My day didn't start well - my alarm didn't go off and we slept in. I was woken by the phone ringing at 8.15, it was someone ringing to say we had a queue outside the shop. We open at 8! I've never got ready for work so fast in my life. It would happen on the 1st week of the holidays, if it had been a month ago no-one would have noticed as we often don't have our first customer until 8.30 or later.

Thanks for the advice about the Actifry paddle Shala, I've ordered one so it won't be too long before we can have chips again. :j

Planning to have an early night tonight and I'm going to set a back up alarm.

    Back tomorrow.

    LL :)

    Congratulations!

Just to explain to our new people who may not go to class, SOTW is worked out by finding the person who has lost the most in the week but has also sts or lost the week before, therefore, unfortunately, first weeks don't count :o Hope that makes sense..

Congratulations Annie and Tellach on worthy winners of our SOTW award. Well done to you both :T:T:T

blue eyed girl that's amazing, massive congratulations:j how long has it taken to get to where you are now?

Thanks Greenbeanie1. I attended my first SW class 15mths today :D I did a quick calculation this morning and I think my loss averages at around 1.75lbs a week. I only worked it out as my Mum says I have been losing it very quickly (seems like forever at times :rotfl:) In the early days I just took each stone at a time as it seemed too daunting a task but thankfully I can see a little glimmer of light down at the far end of the tunnel :rotfl:

shala can you pop me down for a 3.5 gain last week and 5.5lb loss this week. Thanks

    Fab loss Maisie. :T:T:T

Thanks for the chart Shala :)

DH took me suit shopping today (decided he could do with a new one for a wedding we are going to a week on Sat ). As I only had fruit for brekkie, mid afternoon I went into Subway and had a salad - chicken, lettuce, toms, cucumber, gerkins, peppers, few little bits of olives and had honey and mustard dressing (told it was 34 cals so shouldn't be too bad) and a diet coke for £3. Other than that, I survived the trip with plenty of black coffees, bottled water and a little nibble of DH's granola bar from Starbucks. Absolutely starving when I got back home so had fruit whilst some Pasta N Sauce was being sorted with loads of extra veggies. Still got HB to have but I'm tired now :D DS will be in from work sometime soon so will have a cuppa with him and see what I can have for an easy HE. :D

Great losses coming in - think our Shala is going to have big numbers to add up this week - she might have to borrow some of our fingers :p:rotfl:

I have got into the habit of knocking my alarm off - usually 6.30 and then turning over and going back to sleep . Need to be up and out in the morning so I'd better be careful. Thinking of moving my clock further out of reach so that I have to move further to knock it off and might wake more - that's the theory anyway :rotfl:

Hope your week at work improves Lantanna - big hug on its way to you x

Thanks for the HE extra advice, I tend to have seeds such as pumpkin or sesame, olive oil, oats and occasionally cheese such as feta or halloumi.

    Right,got it:
    HEA's:45g feta
    35g halloumi

HEB's: 2 level tablespoons of pumpkin seeds, coat removed
    2 level tablespoons sesame seeds
    35g oats

Olive oil (like all oils) are synned at 2 syns per teaspoon,or 6 syns per tablespoon.
(I did read the other day someone thought olive oil was a HE,but the discussion concluded that it wasn't.maybe once upon a time it was,but it's been changed)

Amazing losses. So pleased for you both.:T:T

I'm not feeling I'm losing this week although I've stuck to plan since Saturday. I got out my book and last year I went into the top end of range after my holiday and didn't get back to target until January:eek:. I stayed in range but at the top part mainly because of two holidays and Christmas. From January I was in bottom of range for 6 months UNTIL this holiday. This time I'm determined to get back under target ASAP even if I have to do some EESP!:rotfl:

Sorry for rambling about that but I needed to think it through and it helps to think out loud. :A

Szechuan Beef was yummy but I decided to have a whole pouch of noodles each so an extra syn!;)

Well done JediWinner and blue_eye_girl.Both absolutely fantastic achievements :j :j.

    My menu today:

    Breakfast:bacon,eggs,tomato,baked beans,fried tinned potato

Lunch: ( random picnic in park with kids) : 2 mandarins, mini sweetcorn, cherries, cherry tomatoes

Tea:had a go at making sweet and sour chicken(pineapple, red pepper), from the Little Book of Sauces book, served with SW egg fried rice(mushrooms, peas, garlic). It was ok,but for the faff, then resulting taste,I would probably just spend 4 syns on my share of a jar sauce next time. And the rice was gluggy, especially after pouring in the egg. This is only the 2nd time in my life I have made egg fried rice, and both times the egg, rather than turning into little pieces of "scrambled egg",just acts as a moistening agent for the whole thing, going a bit rissotto-ish.

    Snack: 2 Hifi bars

Most of skimmed milk allowance used in cups of tea

Good to see you eating well saverupper.

I don't bother making egg fried rice. Aldi's or Sainsbury's 250g microwaveable pouch is only 2.5 syns and John West and Waitrose is just 1.5. Not worth the effort for that sort of syns IMO. You can get low syn pilau as well. Aldi's is only 1 syn for 250g.
