RI'm sorry I keep disappearing from here. Life gets hectic and I try not to spend too much time online but I miss your stories so I'm back again. I'm still following SW at group and have lost 11 1/2 lbs, hopefully get my stone award next week. I've made an instagram account for SW stuff so I can post food photos and drool over other people's menus
any of you lovely people on IG?
Hope you're all well, away to read back to catch up with you all x
Shala, how long is the challenge for? I would like to join it again please? x0 -
STS FOR ME THIS WEEK PLEASE SHALA:mad:
Bit miffed but it will not set me off my stride, I've only really been back on things since Monday so I'm not going off it now. Hopefully I will see a loss next Thursday!
Maman Its taken an operation and weight gain to realise that I loved the stomach I had before in all its glory :rotfl: You should see the state of it now!! I'd do anything for the old one back even though I moaned about it at the time! Be kind to your thighs!
Managed a little walk last night better than nothing!! Let the rebuilding commence !0 -
Good Morning
Belated Happy Birthday tryingtocutback _party__party__party__party_
Well done on the fab losses our lovely thread are having0 -
Have started trying to get the lappy back to "normal" - some things are easier than others. Managed to get my Word & Excel back with just an access code, the same with my YNAB account.
Things like MSE which I use regularly are still on my bookmarks just needed to log back in again and save password.
Still need to download Adobe but won't bother doing it until I actually need it.
Without all the excess programmes on here it's definitely speeded the lappy up a bit.
Have sorted out today's plan and by swapping tonight's dinner and tomorrow night's dinner today will now be a Green day!
B - creamy garlic mushrooms on toast (HEB1 + 2 syns)
L - spicy butternut squash soup (from freezer)
D - mixed bean goulash (from https://www.agirlcalledjack.com) - I should have added that I use a tin of mixed beans rather than a tin of kidney beans and a tin of baked beans with the sauce washed off! didn't like the idea of that but :money: I suppose)
S - Ryvita & cheese (HEB2 & HEA1)
HEA2 - milk in tea throughout the day.
Have got apricots, raspberries, grapes, donut peaches & strawberries to snack on if needed.

And so say all of us!!:)
Checking in to report 3lb loss this week and I'm really pleased :j
A major point for me as that's 3 stone since I started in January.:jRI'm sorry I keep disappearing from here. Life gets hectic and I try not to spend too much time online but I miss your stories so I'm back again. And hope you get your shiny next week!:T
Sorry to hear about your stomach lantanna. I'd assumed keyhole surgery. Poor you.:A
Have heard that boat trip is going ahead despite horrid wet weather, so need to grin and bear it. Fortunately wine syns will be consumed and I'm going to eat well before I go as presumably only snacky stuff available on board. DH and I will have a meal afterwards. Could be Wetherspoons as I'll be looking like dishevelled wreck or come home and do something easy. We'll see.
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB toast, 2 fried eggs
L: LO corned beef hash, pickles, strawberriestbc
Syns: Lots!!;)0 -

Meg - I have a strange addiction to cucumbers at the minute so thanks for that!
Maman - It was keyhole but you are still left with some ugly scars, depends on the person what they end up doing I guess! I have two little ones and two big ones one big one under the belly button and one big one under the bust. All the stitches are on the inside. But its more the bloating, loss of toning and gain of new stretch marks from being blown up like a balloon for the surgery but it will all calm down I am sure and I will love it when I lose this weight and respect it for what it is! Its like a completely different stomach than the one I had last year :rotfl:
Although its no wonder its protesting with what it has been through really ! :rotfl:
I was reading on a fitness site about how whether you are trying to get fit or lose weight or just maintain it is all work in progress and you have to constantly be trying everyday as nothing will stay the same in life your weight / fitness / health etc. This has really struck a cord with me.0 -
Poor you Maman - I'm not keen on boat trips even in good weather so the horrid weather due this weekend it would be hell for me!
I do hope you can manage to enjoy it. Good idea eating before you go as you're probably right about only snacky foods - a real waste of syns in my opinion - much better spent on wine, LOL!
