I just noticed them (from Iceland) ten mins ago while flicking through the magazine.... and damn now you've made me want sweet potato for my tea! Will have to have another gander through this months mag and think of something.
I ended up having salmon with broccoli, carrots and noodles. But i have had the burgers and they are really good. Just don't have the chicken burgers, all i've heard is that they're rubbish and plastic-y. No one's said a good thing about them at our club.
I tell you what i made the other night, one of the chicken curry recipes off the website. It's made with chicken stock, passata, tomato puree and curry powder. I put a bit too much stock in and it was a bit watery and for some reason I thought Quark would thicken it up. It didn't do much to the consistency but it tasted fab0 -

V. pleased to report OH's tests all came back clear.
SHALA can't remember if I signed up to the new challenge, if not please put me down for 4lb goal again.
Great news re DH's tests Durham. You may be able to relax a little bit now.Has anyone ever tried the BLT that's on the website? Well, it's a BLT with a twist. I made one today and omg I thought i'd died and gone to food heaven.
Bacon, lettuce, tomato and some fried pepper between wholemeal bread (HEB) spread with a Laughing Cow Light triangle (1.5 syns). If you like your bacon you've got to try that bad boy.
This is something else I will add to my 'must try recipes one day' list 1940sGal :rotfl:
Had really nice meal tonight - salmon fillet (smoked with liquid smoke), broccoli, cauli, carrots and new pots. Having a cuppa now with nectarine and have decided to have a small portion of Carte D'or Praline Ice Cream as I have been fairly low syn today - 1tbsp ltl salad cream and a mini milk lolly 1.5 syns. Still got my hexs to have and don't know what to have as I am stuck in a bit of a rut with them atm and I am not really too hungry as we had our evening meal late.
Well done losers - you are all doing a marvellous job. Having missed the last two SW classes I will be facing the scales on Monday night

I thought I was reading my meal then Jedi with the salmon, brocolli and carrots :rotfl:
I have tried the SW chicken burgers and would confirm that it is not an experience I will be repeating regardless of how lazy/hungry I am. Also tried the SW Mediterrean Sausages - they were definitely encased in plastic - again I will not be buying again. Will stick to the LM Rosemary and Red Onion Sausages which are syn free or for one syn I will get the Sainsbury's Be Good To Yourself Cumberland.
Still haven't managed to track down the Sainsbury's Be Good To Yourself Burgers maman - have looked several times but don't think our store must stock them.

Congratulations on the loss Lois, and well done on the new shiney. Maybe the lady was trying in a very unpolitical way to encourage her husband to lose weight. Sounds like she was a bit rude on all counts!!!
Hope the buffet went okay maman. I also had the e-mail and SP but like you I have not done it so I am not replying either.
Enjoy your weekend away Denise
Well done on the STS bellkat,
Oh Tweets I would love not to be a 'fatty bum bum next year' when the schools break up and as for being referred to as a twig - wow go you. Have a great holiday break.
wow Lucy 11lb loss you go girl - that is fantastic.
mmm Shala the pastitsio looks scrummy. I fancied making that when I saw it in the magazine. Thanks for the heads up on the sauce and lack of speed veg. Can't believe you got up at 7am on a Saturday to go from a swim - go you - that is commitment. Have fun at the party.
Jediwinner the KFC chicken looks great.
Saverupper enjoy your time off and time for having your meals.
Good loss shrimp and well done on getting below that stone barrier.
Well done on the loss Selement. Sorry not sure about the SP value of the Tikka Masala.
Durham welcome back from your holiday. So glad to hear that DH's test came back all clear. Do they have to do further tests.
1940'sgirl Thanks for the recommendation re the BLT. I love BLT so will need to try this.
Good luck for your weigh in on Monday Beg
Today didn't quite go according to plan as we ended up being out at lunchtime so grabbed a packet of BM cooked chicken and some fruit from a supermarket whilst DH and the boys tucked into hot dogs! So today ended up being:
Breakfast: Mushrooms, tomatoes and fried potatoes
Lunch: chicken, pineapple, melon and strawberries
dinner: Piri piri chicken, with lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, spring onion, raw carrots and sw chips
supper will be finn thins and cheese either babybel or soft cheese for my (heA and
Syns: DG latte (2.5 syns), 3 x pimms and lemonade (75mls 7.5syns)
Not great to have had chicken twice but I was so hungry and it was all I could think off on the spur of the moment to have which was free. Should have got a pack of ham instead now I have written it down lol. Talk about lightbulb moments0 -
Good to see those losses, shrimpy and selement,
Delighted for your great news, durham.
Good result for your team today, maman.
Today was ok. The jelly I had turned out to be “regular” rather than sugar free so 5 syns per portion. Other syns today were 4 for wine gums and 2 ½ for yogurt, I’ll have my babybel & grapes supper tonight.
Sunday
Breakfast: mackerel on hexb toast, fruit
Lunch: Mug Shot of some kind that’s lurking in the cupboard, Linessa yogurt (2½ syns)
Dinner: peppered grillsteak (½ syn), broad beans, tomato, beetroot, SW chips, jelly (5 syns) & fruit
Good night, all.Sewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400 -
Big well done on the losses you wonderful people :T:T:T
Comforting hugs to those in need :A
I've WI with a 1.5lb LOSS  totally unexpected after all the off Plan meals but after a VERY stressful week (yet again) I think I deserve some good news. Have had to hide the bruises from hubby otherwise he'd go ballistic, he's already said he's worried for my safety. 2 days to go then I can forget for 6 weeks
. Maybe my tummy will get back to normal(ish) without the stress.
Have a good weekend all :A and keep the faith. Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Waheyyy :T Well done on your loss hun, that's great!!
Well. I had sweet potato for tea! Inspired by 1940sgal I made sweet potato fries and veg kebabs. I had it with steak, pretty easy and best of all no syns!
Feeling so great to have made it through my 3rd day 100% on plan... I know that sounds lame but I've never done SW 100% before... but I'm following it religiously, even filling out the food diary! Hope Tuesday brings a good loss for me... what did you guys lose in your first week? xxRe-starting comping and saving May 2016 :j:money:0 -
My first week showed a 7.5lb loss Jedi - but we are all different. When I did SW around 20 yrs ago I had a small gain in the first week despite sticking to plan . If you stick to plan you will get the results showing eventually and you will be rewarded for all your hard work. Good luck for Tuesday.

We must have all been brainwashed today by something as I also had salmon and broccoli tonight, along with courgette, new potatoes and green beans.....you can thank the fast forward plan for all the veg! I won't bore anyone with the details of the rest of my days menu as it's all becoming rather monotonous! Only got a few more days of it and then I'm free!! Lol0
