That's excellent.:T I wouldn't worry about trying a new plan at the moment. That's best kept as something to try if your weightloss should stall. Same with your menu. What you're having looks great but you might want to have some variety in lunches and breakfasts if you find yourself at a plateau. BUT, you aren't at one yet so keep going!!

sorry beg another one here who doesn't like chocolate cake, don't like chocolate ice cream either but then again I am not keen on ice cream unless it's sandwiched between chocolate in a magnum lol. Hope you enjoyed your meal out.

Nah Maisie - still cannot understand this 'not liking of chocolate cake or icecream' :rotfl:

Really enjoyed our Gormet Burgers last night - mine didn't have it's own onion rings so we had to order a side of onion rings to share - like you do. DH decided that seeing as I was having a meal off plan I may as well have a dessert - why oh why did I have to order banoffee pie - pure sugar overload. I kept asking DH to share it with me and he told me to just eat it - and I did :o. On the positive side I did stick to soda for drink ;) Been totally back on it today thank goodness.

    Welcome aboard Jedi

Well done to all our fab losers - some great results rolling in :T

Have been out and about more today much longer than I have been since I was poorly and am suffering a bit now. I am totally whacked. As soon as I put my lappy down I think I will be drifting off to noddyland zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz :rotfl:

Will catch up with you all tomorrow.

Thanks Maman, I forgot to add I often have turkey slices to the salad and sometimes change that up a bit, had sliced boiled egg today. It's quite good when I have leftovers from dinner to reheat for lunch the next day, something like quorn bolog. Bit unadventurous with brekkie, maybe swap for a different cereal? Generally have SW fry up at the weekends yum!

I am so glad it's working so far though, love SW! I will only look at other plans if/when I plateau then. Very much appreciate all the advice.

    Speed soup recipe as requested:
(syn free on Green and EE) makes a mahoooosive pan!! - freezes well

    1 can mixed bean salad
1 can green lentils (or handful of dried)
    2 cans chopped tomatoes
    1 can baked beans
    Handful of split lentils
    2 large leeks
    1 large onion
    4 medium carrots
    2 parsnips
1 each green, red and yellow peppers
    2 vegetable stock cubes
    Salt pepper
    Mixed herbs
Water (enough to cover all ingredients)

Chop all vegetables. Put them and everything else into a large pan, cover with water, bring to boil and simmer until vegetables are soft (about 30 mins). Once cooked, the soup can be left chunky or blended smooth.

Make sure you use a huge pan as it makes loads, something like a large pressure cooker should do it, although I suppose you could do it in the slow cooker - having said that I've never tried it!

    Denise

Thanks for this hun! I'm going to try tomorrow morning, I have heard it makes a lot - so got my big pressure cooker ready. Glad to see the lack of mushy peas in this one (had them every day so far haha)

greentiger Maisie M blue_eyed_girl :rotfl: Thank you and hello!!
tweets dubbya Hello! And well done on your loss this week :T

    MaMan Thanks sweet!

I've had a good day today - saving all my syns for a chocolate mousse that I am currently enjoying with a cup of tea.
Tonight I attempted the Slimming World 'Cripsy Seaweed' for my tea! It was actually quite nice (I was surprised) and only 1 syn for the four portions (for the teaspoon of sugar)

I can't work out how to post pics.. but hopefully you can see them on my blog here

Almost Friday folks... this is where I usually struggle - the weekend! So in preparation of snacking like crazy tomorrow I am going to bottle up some water (don't know why I seem to be able to drink tonned more cold from a bottle than a glass :o) and boil some eggs ready for snacks!

This will be the last time I join Slimming World! Finding this thread so motivating and encouring, glad I found it. :D

    Oh, well done, shala!

I’ve been ok today; not felt like having any snacks - yet! So syns total has been 3½. I’ll have a choc digestive (4 syns) for supper later. This should compensate a bit for yesterday anyway.

    It is still dry here!

    Friday
Breakfast: boiled eggs, hexb soldiers, fruit
Lunch: carrot & coriander soup, Linessa yogurt (2½ syns)
Dinner: hm macaroni cheese (8 syns), tomatoes, beetroot, spring onions
Snacks: choc dig (4 syns), hexa cheese & fruit

Fingers crossed for another good day.
