Not here it's not. We're promised 25 degrees and even sunshine in the afternoon!!:D
I think tacos (the shells only) are about 4 syns each depending on the size.Great result teallach
Expecting a gain tomorrow.
Me too!:( Just hope I'm still in target range. I was going to put it off for another week but decided to bite the bullet.
:TGreat news teallach. Target next week!!:eek:Thanks j Denise. I sorted the potato job. And changed the ryvita from B to syns.:D
I will keep having a go and I will try for a full week sometime. But I do think that Green plus the odd E E maybe right for me.:):)
You're probably right to stick to what you know wiz. I think you will find it hard to do EESP for a full week as you wouldn't want to fill half a plate with veg.;)0 -
Hope it's okay to join the thread!
I joined my local Sw last night and today has been day one.
I'm finding it okay so far, I have about six stone to lose ideally.Re-starting comping and saving May 2016 :j:money:0 -
Well.....just back from weigh in and I'm shocked again.....2.5lb off!!!! I had consoled myself with the fact that it was only going to be 1/2lb:j That takes me to 1lb off my target, so it's going to be another tough week of fast forward for me.....I'm not giving up now lol
great result good luck for the week.Slimming World at target0 -

Hi and welcome to our lovely thread you will get lots of help and support on here.Slimming World at target0 -
Morning everyone,
Well I did it! I survived Day 1.
Thank you for all your great advice and support. I did add some syns - I had a 2 finger kit kat (5.5) and some light mayonnaise on my salad at lunch (4).
I actually really enjoyed the kit kat which I ate very slowly with a nice cuppa in the evening - a change from my usual 2 glasses of wine and just as nice!
Anyway, Day 2 today - I recognise that I am not having enough speed food (thank you for pointing this out to me) so I am going to try and address that today.
Breakfast - 2 x weetabix, skimmed milk, a few strawberries
Lunch - Tuna, lettuce, pasta, beetroot, mixed beans, tomatoes
Dinner - SW chicken tikka masala (half of the pack) with rice and a side salad
Syn's - there are cakes at work today - I will work out syns and have one (which I might bring home and have this evening with my cuppa!).
May I ask a question about the Iceland SW meals? I feel that they are really big! Are they meant for 1 person? I have been having half because I add rice/pasta and veg/salad but I just wondered if they were supposed to be for 1 person? On the plus side, they are working out cheaper since they are 2 meals for me!
Thanks in advance,
I hope you all have a great day.0 -
Hi all!
0.5lb off this week. All good! Must not let hubby lead me astray this coming week as he is off work!
Keep going everyone.x0 -
Woke with a migraine this morning, so feeling blah.
Congratulations Teallach on your fantastic weight loss result this week!!!! Amazing x
And well done madwithmoney, 0.5lb is half a block of butter if I'm right?
A bit of warning about the home frozen chips, I usually put them flat in my fast freeze compartment and had no problems, but because the kitchen freezer was full I decided to put them in my other small freezer in the garage and like someone said this doesnt work
Some turned a grey colour . So maybe par boiling is the answer?
well done tryingtocutback! The SW meals are huge, I share them with my husband. I don't know if it's just me but I don't like the taste of the madras one? It has a tang to it that puts me off, I feel like adding cream to it, lolKindness costs nothing0 -
has anyone made the scotch eggs before? I was watching the video on youtube and it looks quiet easy. I've treated myself to a mini chopper so I can turn my bread allowance into breadcrumbs for recipes.....they look fab and are tiny so don't take up much kitchen space

Last night I oven baked the chips without frylight or any other oil. I soaked in a pan of water first and didn't dry them before putting in the oven. I turned them a few times and they came out lovely, lol.Kindness costs nothing0 -
Welcome Jedi
At least with my gain I know exactly where it comes from which is good.
Went downhill after the wine on Monday but as I was keeping the food diary I know exactly where I went wrong.
maman~~ hopefully wont be as bad as you think

I don't like EESP because I miss the carbs too. Cauliflower rice, couretti spaghetti & carrot ribbons just don't do it for me - not filling enough!
I tend to do a mix of EE and Green - mainly EE because DH likes to have meat every day and I refuse to cook 2 different meals so he has to put up with non meat days from time to time:D.
Having a Green day today:
B - melon (after WI)
L - beanburger in WM pitta (HEB1)
D - Jacket potato, baked beans, cheese (HEA1)
HEA2 - milk in tea throughout the day
HEB2 + 4 syns - Ryvita & butter
Back later after WI.
